Okay, Star Wars: Cloak of Deception is now up (divided into daily segments taking place during the latter months of Year 33 BBY)... I like the fact that the book refers to thre abdiction of the throne by King Veruna, the election of Amidala as new queen, and the 'accidental' death of Veruna... The Index-page of Important Events has been updated accordingly (but I still have to do a major read-through of the whole era once all sources are included... just to make sure that nothing is messed up...)

Anyway, next on the list (just because I want to...) are the RPGA Living Force modules for this era, and the events described in the Living Force Campaign Guide by WotC... You can expect them up pretty soon, as they are not nearly as long as a novel...

Thanks for the info Eddie!! I'm happy to hear that video-game stuff will be present eventually. Thanks for putting this great saga together!

Great link Plaristes-very cool.

Awesome as always, Eddie. applause I'm amazed at how much detail you have for Cloak of Deception. I'm wondering now, considering how you've added the stuff about Veruna's abdication, how you'll incorporate the note in the Queen Amidala Journal about how Veruna is retired and farming rocks.
You mentioned reading through your entries to find any mistakes. I think I found one for you. Granted, Droids Everywhere is not exactly an important source, but since it took me months to find a copy (and I just got it a couple days ago), I wanted to see where you listed it in your timeline. You have it listed on the morning of the Boonta Eve podrace, but that seems not quite right to me. The book has Anakin working at Watto's shop, but isn't he working on his podracer at that time? There's nothing in the book that places the events that day. Yes, Watto leaves his shop at the end of the book to go watch a race, but that could be a previous race.

Thanks. I'm not a gamer, so, like Eddie, I'm pretty dependent on the game books and any walkthroughs I can find posted. Now I just wish I could find complete walkthroughs of X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Rogue Squadron, Bounty Hunter, Empire at War, etc. praying
Unfortunately for me, some of the games have no game books that I'm aware of and, due to the systems they're played on, will probably never have walkthroughs posted (Lethal Alliance, New Droid Army, Order 66, etc.). cry

Finding an accurate summery or anything for Lethal Alliance is darn near impossible. I did work out a day-by-day chronology for the theft of the Death Star plans that includes it, since Kyle's inclusion in the game date-locks the story pretty firmly, but still.... sad The biggest issue is whether or not Despayre is destroyed in the game or not...

BTW, the strategy guides for X-Wing and TIE Fighter are well worth tracking down for anyone--they both have substantial prose sections with really great stories.

I liked to think of "farming rocks" as a Naboo euphemism for "decomposing". grin

Will look into that this weekend... Glad you liked my update!!

Eddie, I just came across this site that has several fairly obscure little gems. I'd never even heard of some of these. Are you going to include this adaptation of episode I in your timeline eventually?

Now back up is the (uncorrected version of) events before and during Attack of the Clones, which lead directly into the Clone Wars...

Oh yeah, with uncorrected I mean that this is the version which was up on my timeline a few years ago: they have to be revised and updated with newly-released stuff, but I will await the arrival of The Clone Wars until I will begin with that...

nice work, nice work.

I truly believe this will be the most detailed, useful source of starwars EU material in the near future.

The VERY FAR future that is... wink

Anyway, here's my plan of action for the rest of this year:

1st: repost the Clone Wars portion which I had up in 2006 (hope to finish that in about two weeks or so)...

2nd: Finish and upload the Living Force adventures which take place in the year following TPM (Living Force Year One and part of Year Two)

3rd: go back to the KotOR comics (by which time I hope we have progressed an in-universe year, making the placement of # 15-or-so to 28-or-so more easy)...

4th: concentrate on the Clone Wars-era (rewriting existing stuff incorporated with sources not yet covered and some of the new "cartoons"/movie)...

5th: wish you all a Very Happy 2009... happy

Sounds cool, Eddie. When you get to the KOTOR comics, will you also include a few other things from that era, like a few miniatures scenarios, the audio books, and stuff from the upcoming KOTOR campaign guide?
