Oh, I never reviewed this! 
Overall Darth Bane: Rule of Two was a lot of fun and I enjoyed the book immensely. I had a few quibbles with the direction Drew decided to go with Farfella (I'd have liked to see him embrace the monastic aesthetic wholeheartedly after the Ruusan-reformation) but other than that, I really can't complain.
Zannah was wonderfully written, as were the "flashback" scenes of her and Bane.
I can't wait for book three.

I reat it a few months ago, but here are my thoughts. As much as I loved Path of Destruction, I think RoT was quiet slow in its development. The story felt as if it dragged a lot until the final battle and beyond. It was great to see how Bane got his Orbalisk armor, but it wasn't so to see how little time he got to wear it. I don't know, after so many time talking about how important the armor was, I expected this plot point to last quite longer.
As for the things I liked: as I've said, the ending. The battle with the jedis and its aftermath with an injured Bane. I also enjoyed reading about old characters like Darovit and, especially, Farfalla, who I thought I wouldn't see again in a major role. I also want to mention what a good character Zannah is. She sure makes for an interesting character. All the Sith history and stuff was also interesting, as always...
I will certainly buy the third entry in the series, but I hope the problems with this are due to its quick creation. 6/10.
