Before anyone panics... remember the luck (lack of!) those men who bear the Skywalker name have with maintaining their relationships.
Poor Deliah is probably now doomed to some horrible end.

I think I shall start using Space Junkie as my official name for Cade, just as Krayt is always the Usurper.
Also, awesome: "I should have had Skywalker enlisted, incarcerated, or embalmed"

Well, even if it comes to that, at least Mara had a good run first. Maybe Deliah will too.
I just had so much fun with this issue. I was so caught up in the story that I was honestly surprised to reach the last page. And the art is absolutely gorgeous.

Glad it wasn't just me.
I got some really great Firefly-ish vibes off this issue, but then I always do when the 'crew are together.
As a side note, is this is the first time we've seen Cade referred to as "Captain Cade"? I liked that.
Cripes. I liked everything.

Hm. I (really) liked this one, in spite of myself.
Also, about halfway through, I thought "hm, some kind of Huttese reference would be nice..."
So, heh. You mind-readers, you.

I'm more concerned with how Skywalker men seem to attract girlfriends (well, Anakin's an exception, due to him falling for Padme at age nine/ten, but his eye wandered occasionally, I think). Cade only has one so far (and we are NOT counting that... time with Talon), compared to Luke who had, what, at least half a dozen girlfriends, and at least two or three were serious (Mara, Callista)? Heck, over in KotOR, Zayne has at least two possible love interests. Oh well, at least with Deliah being a Zeltron, there's no chance of incest. I think. And its still early in the series, plenty of time for Cade to collect more girlfriends.
Deliah will be safe. For awhile. Although considering all the lightsaber duels that are going to come along eventually, the probable chance of any of the non-Force sensitive cast is up for debate.
Though this does kind of remind me of Firefly too. Now Cade just needs to get swindled on a few more jobs, and he'll be the perfect fringe character.

Yes, I love the pairing but I've got a half-feeling she's going to be the Gwen Stacy of Cade's life. At least in terms of her fate and its affect on him.
PS: Anyone else notice that Cade says: "Hey, Artoo" before he gives his order? Like you have to with that increasingly popular (and awesome) R2-D2 toy? It's probably a coincidence, but it'd make me laugh if it was a reference.

It seems almost everyone loved this issue just as much as I did! It had so many good interactions, and they paced themselves perfectly. Not to mention that the art was amazing! I'm curious to see what mission the 3 imperial knights have. Sia as a knight now should be interesting. I wonder how Sigel and Sia would get along? heh.
There are a lot of small details that I'm glad people picked up on, like seeing Oron Jaeger in the background and Sia finally being seen in imperial armor for the first time. I also noticed something so small as when Kee tells Cade to go speak with Deliah and tell her she said bye. I didnt think those two liked eachother. I really liked Kee and Chak, I hope they make a return sometime. Kee especially. But their exit from the story as of now has made room for newer characters, which I'm very interested in. Especially Azlyn. I'm pretty sure she is female considering the name and her posture, but you never know. I hope shes an alien female, other than Monia Legacy doesnt have enough female aliens.
I'm also curious as to who Darth krayt's two new "hands" are who appeared in the previous issue on Mon Calamari. Darth Wyrlokk and Darth Azard were present, but teh other two sith there were unnamed. I saw on the DH message boards that it was confirmed having Darth Talon in the last issue was a mistake, but they still have to explain who this other female twilek is now and the other mysterious bald sith lord. I wonder if they are his new hands? Nihl and Talon were both roughed up pretty bad, and this isnt their first failure. I'm surprised he didnt kill them to be honest, but at least we know they are in bacta tanks.

I'm hoping that Deliah comes to her senses and realizes that R2D2 is the one for her, not Cade.

Depending on what sort of "upgrades" he's currently fitted with, of course.
Best ship ever.
