Yay for being done with the black bars. wink

Few more random thoughts:

The art was beautiful. The whole thing - just amazing. grin

Interesting use of the Force lightning-ish stuff there when Cade had Rav at saber point. Looks like what we’ve seen when he heals or when he had Nihl on the ground in 19, but seemed more controlled this time and without the yellow eyes. I see what John meant when he said Cade would be handling things “Cade style.” mischief

Roan Fel: “I should have had Skywalker enlisted, incarcerated, or embalmed.” laugh Take a number, man. tongue

Very nice scene between Antares and Sia. love I wondered how long it would be until she decided to "deal with" Daddy for her man. (You go, girl. wink )

Loved Naxy's dialogue and the make-shift brig and Syn’s surprise that they “pay what [they] owe” now.

I’ve already gushed about the Cade/Deliah scene, but I do have to say that I loved the resigned “I hate talking” line and how Cade danced around the conversation before actually getting to the real issue. Such a guy. doh!

I’m looking forward to seeing more of Rawk and family. With lines like hating stupid crime lords and how the kids (kits) always manage to come home in time for supper, I like them already. ('specially after the interview with John and Jan in the recent Insider and the sneaky-peak pages.) Can’t wait to meet this girl that Syn has his sights on. (Wanted to show her his "big gun." laugh )

Aaaaand then there’s Azlyn Rae. The plot thickens…even more. hypnotized

I have to say I'm pretty unhappy with the Sia thing right now. Before I explain why, I'm going to say that I'm not second guessing John and Jan because I know that they do everything for a reason--and I also don't want to seem ungrateful for that scene, as we still got to see the Imperial Family again after a long absence.

That said, a princess rebelling against her father to do what she wants is a bit over done--not as overdone as a princess hooking up with a rogue, of course, but still. I was hoping she'd be different; more stately and gracefully mannered, I suppose. She was talking like your average rich girl then, which bothers me.

But that's just a single scene--things can change, or it may just be that Sia's taking a far more familiar tone around Draco. So we'll remain to see. This comic seems to have an uncanny knack for turning me around to things I wouldn't have thought I'd like, so I'll wait and see what happens.

But I can still pontificate and declaim about how Draco is utterly unsuitable for Her Imperial Highness. grin

I'm mostly sure Cade was speaking truthfully when he was talking with Deliah, but then again, with Cade, as he whispered, he hates talking, which I think means he still prefers not to talk about personal stuff, even if it is his relationship with Deliah. Cade acts like he's having a nice time playing pirate/bounty hunter this issue, what with him "clearing" his debts with Rav, but there's still that nagging "save the galaxy" problem that just won't go away (especially (and Luke will probaly be back to nag him sooner or later). And yeah, I half-expect Cade to have moments with at least most of the female cast. As the main lead, one girlfriend probably isn't going to be enough for him, depending on how long the series lasts. Although I wish we could get a translation for what Artoo's saying actually, but at least nice to see Artoo.

It was a nice parallel with how Cade and Sia both showed up and both already have a potential other. I guess Sia didn't show any feelings for Antares before due to their last meeting being on a random planet surroundedy by Sith. Though I sometimes wonder how another artist would draw Sia, but oh well, who cares, the art is excellent as usual.

Can arms grow back in bacta tanks? Or can they be reattached? I remember a line back in YJK about attaching limbs, but that being so long ago, not sure if that's canon or not. At least it confirms Nihl and Talon survived (like there was ever any doubt). I wasn't paying that close attention to the Sith slaughter last issue, I just assumed it was another random red-skinned Twi'lek, what with how almost all of Krayt's minions are red-skinned.

I can understand Roan Fel being paranoid, but he's starting to sound a bit too paranoid. Its not like Cade ever had any Imperial secrets (maybe the fact that Roan Fel is on Bastion, but that was leaked befor Cade left Bastion it seems). Darth-Ghost, I do wonder if maybe Roan Fel will tell Sia to use her link to Cade (as everyone Cade heals seems to establish a Force link with him) to go hunt him down. It sorta seems odd Roan Fel is sending out his daughter again, but guess she was already out trying to recruit loyal officers, and at least she's now a full Imperial Knight (probably with cortosis gauntlet too).

One random complaint/question: I do wonder how long till Wolf Sazen and Shado show up again though. They've been missing for quite a while since the Sith wrecked the Ossus Temple even more. Oh well, at least Sia showed up again, that was great, she's been off-screen for even longer.

Yes, yes, Roan Fel is beyond reproach.

Nothing wrong with him whatsoever or crazy leanings.

So... does anyone think that the whole thing with Cade and Blue was a bit of foreshadowing? "With me and you it ain't like that. It's like you take the dark away." Makes it seem like Blue and Cade are in it for the long run and that love will actually help keep the darkside away for once.

No.

Not really.

The Skywalkers are a generational legacy and they won't have alien babies.

So, doooooommed.

Not really. Maybe a while, maybe a long while, but in the end? Probably not. There's the capitalistic reason, that I doubt they'll have pink-skinned Skywalkers (if humans and Zeltrons can even have babies). Second, that comment about her keeping the dark out- oh, in fiction, that's just asking for the girlfriend to be killed, especially as Cade has a long way to go, and I doubt he's done having brushes with the darkside yet, especially with his dubious morals. What I mean is, if Deliah's a stablizing influence on Cade, then for future angst, struggles, etc., and she'll have to be removed. Eventually. During teh Claws of the Dragon arc, Cade was stuck in the Sith temple alone, so she was gone, but with how long the series is looking to go... well, let's also mention again that Skywalker girlfriends tend to end up dead. Wives too, sometimes. Actually, tragic deaths of Skywalker wives might be a tradition by now (Padme, Mara, and maybe Tahiri, if you count Anakin Solo, well, I don't know if Tahiri's dead yet or not, but her character is ruined already, which is almost a fate worse than death).

True. But surely, not every tradition needs to continue. Surely.

I'd be more than happy to see Morrigan and Deliah beat the system. cool

Edit - Although, Morrigan may have discovered the secret to longevity: Run.
