She could be in a stasis, but then she could also just be dead...

I wondered about Dagobah too. Have we ever officially heard what caused the dark side to hover around that cave so much...?

Way back in Zahn's earliers books, its explained that Yoda and a powerful, insane Bfasshi (however you spell that) Dark Jedi fought a battle on Dagobah that lasted several days and eventually ended with the Dark Jedi dead, blown up in a darkside energy explosion, and the darkside cave is sorta where he died, a remnant of his power, a lingering trace, whatever you call it. Its also mentioned that in orbit around Endor, at the place where the second Death Star exploded, there's still a lingering trace of Palpatine's death too. Not exactly sure when the Yoda vs. Dark Jedi battle occured though, maybe during the Clone Wars, though originally it might've been after, but in a relatively recent retcon, I think its mentioned that it happened during the Clone Wars. Its also arguable that Yoda chose that planet to hide out on due to the abundance of life and that the darkside energy might cancel out Yoda's lightside energy signature, but that might just be conjecture.

And possible Dagobah, but maybe not, not with Yoda on the same planet. Unless it happens to be on the other side of the planet, but still, I'd hope they would just leave Yoda be during that era. I hope its not Dagobah, but you never know, especially as this is during the Vector crossover.

If she's dead, how would her body be preserved though? Then again, with Sith artifacts, you never know what can happen, and its not unheard of for millenia-long stasis.

Well, Lenin looks still pretty good considering that he has been dead for 84 years.... And Dooku kept the body of Sifo-Dyas around, didn't he? No reason why a dead body couldn't be in a stasis to stop it from decaying.

Yeah, but that's only a few decades. Celeste is from Zayne's time! Though like I said, with strange talismans like that, and stasis, its probably not impossible for either Celeste to be in stasis for millenia, or for her body to be preserved for millenia, either. It would be somewhat creepy though, but not impossible. Though I'm personally hoping that that's just a vision or something, with symbolism and such, to link that cover with KotOR's last Vector cover, but... probably not.

NOOOO! Celeste was to die at Demagol's hands, not survive for 4000 years longer then any other KOTOR character! You've ruined it all! Curse you Richards!!!!!

Now, now Demagol isn't Doctor Doom or he'd simply invent time travel. wink

As to what's on the cards, well I agree we can guess what happens but it should still be good and with Wheatley on the art, it'll look gorgeous.

It also looks like DHC will be clearing the DT / Rebellion backlog for Vector to continue smoothly too.

Oh well. The bright part to this is that Celeste will not become a regular fixture of the KOTOR series. mischief

The bad part is that I'll presumably have to read about her for the next 11 issues of Vector. cry

Is that the dark side cave on Dagobah? Dammit, the Muur Talisman had bloody well better not be the reason that place came to be.

Or she might stay as a recurring character in Dark Times, after losing the talisman...

We don't know yet, to be honest I think it would feel cheap to just put her back into stasis before each time-leap.

Remember, everyone, this is a Jackson Miller-Ostrander production in the main therefore do not assume that just because one method is used to vector from era to another that it will be repeated for all transitions, remember that, to borrow a Gene Hunt phrase, these stories are done by crafty bastards.

Especially as it would be pretty awkward to have Vader on Dagobah in 19 BBY or 18 BBY, near where Yoda was. And there is an established background story for the Dark Side cave and it should not be jettisoned just because of a fundamentalistic reading of GL's script for ROTS.

I presume you mean the Bpfasshi Dark Jedi? If so, that's already been chucked out the window.

For the moment, apparently. Foolish thing to do. I'll hope they see the light and reverse the decision.

Agreed. I haven't even bothered to try and puzzle out what that decision did to Car'das's story.
