I won't get into when Gryph composed the narrative or why -- that's to be learned in coming issues of KOTOR -- but he's done one before. If you check out Hyperspace, you'll find "Labor Pains," one of his previous memoirs in the same style.

It was a lot of fun to see the little guy immortalized in the future like this!


Ooh, so that will be covered in upcoming KotOR issues! That's definitely something to look forward too. At first it almost seemed like it might've been after Zayne's adventures were done with (well, at least the major "clearing his name" adventure), but knowing Gryph, he always loves to talk anyway. And I wish I could read Labor Pains, but gotta convince the parents to let me borrow their credit card first. Oh well, I'll get to it eventually.

On question I have after re-reading the issue, why does Celeste have elf ears? It's especially odd since on the Rebellion covers shes back to human ears.

I see what you're saying, but they aren't an elongated-pointy. They are normal sized and appear pointy in only a couple shots. But clearly, they appear round/normal in this image, so I don't see much with it other than maybe the angle was tough to draw or something. Or maybe it was intentional after what Jarael just did? Who knows?

All I have to say is:

love the artwork.

Vector is actually starting to look good. I know it shouldn't all be about the artwork but I cannot put into words how good it is to see Celeste finally drawn properly. grin

I thought Dark Times and Rebellion were holding out until their Vector issues were done?

They are. Dark times is done as of #12 and Rebellion is on hiatus as of #16

There is a The Clone Wars comic due out Sept 24th by Henry Gilroy. I think six have been scheduled. Rebellion is finished it's Vector arc as of the end of August if they are on schedule. Legacy and KotOR are the only ongoing comics as far as I know until Rebellion and DT come off Hiatus.

Hmm... reading the Shipyards of Doom entry on the Dark Horse site it says it comes out quartery. So, does that mean we'll be getting a full TPB every 3 months?

I suppose if the trade off is only KOTOR and Legacy per month but a full TPB every 3 months then it isn't too bad a deal.

Yeah.

Vader struck me as somewhat sypathetic to Celeste at first, saying he didn't want to hurt her and holding her when she was distressed. Of course he tried to turn her to the dark side

I don't see how the crew is going to get out of this one.
They all know too much. The more people that know, the easier for Palpatine to find out.
Unless of course, Vader is on assignment... the only way Celeste survives to meet Cade is if Vader somehow shoves her back in the box. The art was 10x better in this issue and Captain Asthma looks spectacular.
