I think you'll have a harder time explaining how Indy has a giant lizard sidekick and why Slyssk has suddenly been replaced with some greaser kid.

I don't think Jarael can be the Exile. Exile must have already been a Jedi Knight when Malak recruited her or otherwise she couldn't have been able to take a Padawan if she would have instead stayed. There just isn't enough time for Jarael to be found to be Force sensitive and be trained to become a Jedi. And I think we already got a possible mention of a Jedi that might be Exile having been on Serroco in one issue.

Well, it does kinda make certain that we'll see her again in Rebellion and Legacy. The Dark Times cover doesn't indicate when she got put in that capsule, so maybe she still could be The Exile...

But I am pretty sure that Celeste Morne is put in stasis in Knights of the Old Republic #28 which means it happens before The Exile comes to be.

That's not really possible. The Vector will have a continuity. So, what ends in KOTOR will appear again and continue in Dark Times, and Rebellion, and finally Legacy. If, Force forbids, Celeste would turn out to be Exile, the whole story of late Mandalorian Wars when she was the general and later TSL would not look too good on the continuity. Not to mention that some explanation would then be necessary on how did she end up in that capsule, and when and why, etc. Which means another comic, or book, or retcon... Too much trouble.
