Yeah, let's hope the Jedi act goes better for Jarael this time.
I always like the game characters making cameos. A glimpse of Atris (sort of)! I am glad to have Vector behind us.

That's what it sounded like to me.
The art is pretty good. The only real weakness I think is that some of the camera angles seem a little awkward, or maybe the perspective in those shots are a little weird. Nothing big.

For some reason that's got me thinking, now. Maybe those six council seats are empty in KotOR II because those masters followed Revan to war.

Looks like it.
Atris in the preview! And she is talking to Lucien. In some way, they have similar way of thinking, so I wouldn't be surprised if Atris was a friend of the Covenant, even if she isn't aware of it's activities.

Yup.
I dressed up as a Jedi two times. I hope I will be a Jedi in he near future!
j/k, now seriously, yes, there is more to Jarael than meets the eye, pointy ears business being only one of those things. I've always wondered if she'll turn out to be Force sensitive.
However, there is Alek's like from Flashpoint which confuses me.
"And I think we both know I'm the only Jedi in this conversation."
Hey may have been referring to Jedi, as in 'trained' as a Jedi...but if she is a Force-sensitive, I guess someone would have sensed that already...

That's what I wrote in one fanfic, but I don't think Lucien would ever be among them. The masters that joined Revan in the early days probably did so for the good, to help the galaxy against the Mandalorians, but I just don't see Lucien being one of them, or having any reason whatsoever to follow Revan, especially after it was clearly shown in the Homecoming that the Covenant is not too sympathetic to his cause.
There may not be a uniform reason those masters are missing. I'm sure there were several different events which led to that. Mandalorian and Revan was was surely not the only thing happening in the galaxy, the Jedi are needed in many places. And especially during the Trial in the KOTOR II, when it was a peroid of rebuilding things, the masteres were scattered across the galaxy, but then something happened to them and only those we heard in the game stayed alive. Just a guess.
And maybe Lucien joined those who died trying to kill Zayne.

There's no guarantee that Force sensitives can instinctively sense each other, not unless both are using Force powers in close proximity. Vader interrogated Leia, but never had any clue they were related, and Leia easily has some of the most potential Force power, being of the Skywalker line. Another, somewhat more obscure example, is that the Solo kids were friends with Zekk for years, but never realized he had Force powers either. So you never know, Jarael could turn out to be Force sensitive. Zayne was able to telepathically talk to her a bit on Flashpoint, and it could explain Jarael's uncanny combat skills. Or I could just be reading too much into too little. On topic, wonder if it really will be the issue really will be that predictable and it'll be Jarael under the cloak, or it might be someone else (they've got Shel now too, to play female characters). Either way will work, though hopefully, if Jarael is playing a Jedi again, it'll turn out better than last time.

Who says Jarael's playing Jedi again? Zayne's old girlfriend is with them now. Maybe she's playing Jedi now, and Jarael's playing the role of a prospective recruit.

The cover hints very strongly that Jarael will dress up as Celeste Morn in the issue.
But then again, this is a cover we're talking about here. Everyone knows covers always lie.

I think thanks are owed to the KOTOR teams, who consistently show us new worlds unseen before, rather than another Ryloth, Tatooine or Hutt visit.

Indeed. The comics are doing great job at exploring the era and different places.
I think the RPG KOTOR campaign guide will make an awesome sourcebook.

Yeah, same thing happened to me. At first I thought it was a memory or something, and was thinking why on earth would Adasca talk to Vandar...

When Zayne mentioned that Lucien was against Jedi fighting in the Mando wars, Alek replied "Him and half the council." So it's pretty clear that half the council probably followed Revan into war. And if Lucien were ever cast out by the Jedi, there's a good chance they'd follow Revan as well, no matter his initial feelings towards the war.
It also looks like Master Kavar shaking hands with Lucien.
Also, we know Haazen had a hand in placing Lucien on the council, but who would of had enough say to put him on there when the two most senior members are questioning it. This is screaming ROTS all over again.

Empire/Rebellion seemed to do that a bit, too. Though whether any of those places were actually interesting, well, that's another issue. And now that I think about it, a lot less exotic.

So, the big question is why does Haazen want Lucien on the Council?
If Haazen is part of some Sith conspiracy then appointing the person who doesn't want the Jedi in the war would be odd, unless we see Lucien getting utterly manipulated against his will, which, admittedly, would be looking more and more Sion like.
