How many of you would be interested in participating if we did a few of them in September?

Wait, is August supposed to be Tyrant's Test, or is it CoD? In the SoL post, it said Tyrant's Test is next, to finish up the BFC, but... oh, I'm confused.

And for the record, yes, I would be interested in participating in a YJK month discussion. Although I already pop up for most months anyway. Ah, how nostalgic all these books are.

Any thoughts on October? I'm still of half a mind to try and do some of the YJK books then, but I'm also still curious about support for such a notion. How about a targeted question:

How many of you would be interested in participating if we did a few of them in October?

Fixed your post. And as I'm planning on reading the YJK to work on Jacen's Wookieepedia article, I'm sure I'll be in.

Assuming I'm caught up at that point, I'd love to check the YJKs out. I've never read them.

Excellent! Then I propose we do the first three YJK books in October. It'll also provide a way to spread out the discussion throughout the month if I post questions about each book at the start of the first three weeks of the month?

Stryker - I know it's not Lightsabers yet, but assuming the discussion goes well we can come back and do the back half of the first season after taking a break for a month or two, and it'll be interesting to look at the whole of the first series?

Also, just to let everyone know, I'm moving to South Korea in a few weeks, right around August 1st. I'll still be around (though perhaps not quite so much until I get the net in my apartment, but I hear you can't move over there for falling over internet cafes!), but I may need to post the next 181st thread a day early then check back with you once I'm installed in foreign climes!

I'd like to nominate the Dark Forces books, though all 3 might be too much for one month, so perhaps they might be spread out and combined with Jedi Sunrise:

Month 1: Soldier For The Empire/Lightsabers
2: something else
3: Rebel Agent/Darkest Knight
4: something else entirely
5: Jedi Knight/Jedi Under Siege

Thoughts?

October? Holy kriff, I turn 30 on the 17th of October! grin What a great birthday present, there.

And hey, the more YJK, the better.

The Dark Forces novellas could easily all be done in a month.
