Or a random ship might just crash land between Zayne and whoever's attacking. Its happened before. Zayne's luck is the ultimate power in the universe, after all, so something will save Zayne.
Jarael could make a career out of saving his hide, lol.
Love the art. 'bout time he started to get grouchy.

Looks good enough, I suppose.
I like the style a lot, and I've always been a fan of OT style "wavy lightsabers," but it doesn't look a lot like Zayne...why is this character so hard to draw?

My guess for the hardness to draw Zayne has to do with his luck?

That would be truly awesome.

I know what you mean. That's a great style and an excellent objective drawing but I'm not sure it looks much like Zayne for two reasons, both to do with his face. He looks a lot older, and his expression only exemplifies that and has a lot more of a stern, determined look than Zayne's usual innocent/terrified/pleading/surprised/naive look. Even when he's angry, or scared, or desperate, Zayne usually has a very young, almost childlike look that says, "Really, I don't want this, any of this!"
But this is only a picture, and is clearly supposed to be him very cross with something. So much of the un-Zayne-likeness is dependent on the expression he's pulling which he won't be in every single panel. So I think the style itself could still work very well overall in the comic book. Especially since we don't know the context of the scene this will be in. May work well in context.

Not a chance. There's no reason to stop KOTOR when it's such a popular series, and still has so much potential. It's also very doubtful that the story will begin to shy away from Zayne. There are still seven years until the first video game; Vector is currently happening, which is supposed to have a profound impact on the "future" of the series and its characters; JJM recently said in an interview that in the "future" of the series, Zayne and his allies will move further away from the events of the games and the Mandalorian Wars; JJM also confirmed that KOTOR will continue in 2009 when two of its brethren go on hiatus ---
--- KOTOR isn't going to stop soon, and neither will Zayne's story. Not a chance.

Oh no. They are not putting Dark Times and Rebellion on hiatus and winding up KotOR. That is one thing I'm not worried about.

I'll definitely be curious to see how the interior art comes out as a whole. I'm a little sad that this issue is still months and months away, though, I confess... though there's plenty of awesome between now and then, as well. But with two more issues of Vector and then the two Feln issues, and then this, JJM is packing some serious bang in the next six months, to say the least.
No worries about KotOR going away, either, kids. It's around to stay for a long while. I mean, seriously, we're only at 26 issues released, and it's an ongoing.
As a side note: DT and Rebellion aren't going on hiatus next year; they'll be going on hiatus about the time this comes out or a little after until next year.

I could see them wrapping the Covenant story more or less up soon. After that, there's still plenty ahead when you have the Mando Wars, whatever Jarael's galaxy shattering secret happens to be, everything we had hinted at back in "Homecoming", among other things.

That's what I meant - the conclusion of Zayne's struggle to prove his innocence against the Covenant, and the fulfillment of his vision: "One of you will confess and clear my name. That one will live. The others will die. And if the Republic falls in the process, so be it. Just remember, you started it. I'll finish it." I know those aren't his exact words, but that's pretty much what he said. I especially loved that last part - more or less saying if he does turn to the dark side, which from the looks of things he won't - it'll be because of that the Covenant did to him.
I can see the comics depicting some more battles of the Mandalorian War and some key events that led to the War of the Star Forge.
And I know that Rebellion and Dark Times are going to be placed on hiatus. Not that concerned about Rebellion. Dark Times, on the other hand... We have to know what happened to K'Kruhk and the FREAKING SWEET HAT between Order 66 and the Legacy era. Not only him but Bomo, Dass, Kai Hudorra, Noirah Na, and the Unuhelme crew.

The cover artist is indeed Brian Ching, along with Michael as mentioned. Brian was busy on Force Unleashed for most of the last year, and it is great to see him drawing Zayne again!

Agreed! I wonder if he'll do any interior art on KOTOR in the near future? Sue Rostoni said that he was going to Rebellion after doing TFU, but with Rebellion now going on hiatus, I wonder what SW will have in store for Ching.
And JediAlly, my apologies for misinterpreting your comment. I thought you meant the adventures of Zayne, period, which would either spell the end of the series, or a shift of the comic's focus towards Alek and the Revanchist Leader. Myyyyyyy mistake!
