This is the best news i've heard in a long time. I like the story more when it surrounds the Jedi as a whole rather than just Zayne running from everybody. It's good to see him on the offensive and try to take a stand for a change. When the story focuses on him and the Covenant rather than everything in between is when it's at its best.
Ching's Zayne is looking a little pale in the face.

He was in the Undercity for a month. Not a lot of tanning booths down there...

Something about that covert art and description tell me that Krynda's gonna have some answering to do before the Council real soon...
BTW, I love how grimly determined Zayne looks on that cover.

Question for JJM:
Just going from the covers of future issues it's pretty obvious that Feln will have punched his last ticket or fought his last padawan by the end of #30. And going from the vision, Xamar will be next. But his vision speaks of the Mandalorian's fleeing. My question is this...Is it towards the end of the war when this happens or is it just a random encounter. A Republic ship firing on another Republic ship isn't something that we've seen a lot of. Actually, it hasn't happened yet or has been known to happen 'til the end of the war.

Always in motion, that old future is -- and so it's an open question whether you should you count anyone out, starting with our big Feeorin friend. Raana Tey was only one, and as Goldfinger says, "once is happenstance." And there's also more than one prophecy in the picture, too.
You've touched on one of the fun things about writing this series that is not often discussed — that we got to put the readers in the Covenant's shoes, in a sense. We've seen their prophecies; gamers know some other things about the future, too. But even if everything is true (again, an open question), which things go where? And when? Only the future will tell, of course!
(Which is about as good an answer as I can think of to a question I can't answer yet!)

Wow, JJM, I'm impressed. That's the first time I've seen someone quote the Goldfinger novel.
In any event, who's going to be the coincidence and enemy action?

One of the best novels on the planet, Bly. This is what I read instead of the stuff on the book list in high school...
(Though the movie version scheme was more likely to have worked, logistically — Die Hard 3 showed us how hard it was to transport a mountain of gold!)

Question for JJM:
Recently re-reading the Adjudicator inserts in some back issues made me wonder something: is the unnamed Admiral of the Fleet an older Captain Vanicus from the Tales of the Jedi series?

Aye, can't argue with that. The stuff we have to read these days is complete rubbish.

Can't answer — but there is a lot of Republic Navy material in the KOTOR Campaign Guide for the RPG, coming out in August.

I understand. Though I wasn't aware that the Republic Navy would have much material in the Campaign Guide. I'm really excited about it now! Thanks for the heads up JJM!

Quick, someone tell Nick!
Thanks for all the feedback, John. This has been an awesome series, and your work continues to impress.
I'm curious: are the philosophies undergirding Vector - specifically, friendliness to new readers and so on - going to continue to impact the series, particularly in the first few issues after the special arc concludes?

Oh, now that's exciting. I'm looking forward to that baby.

I guess, for all we know, that Feln or Xamar could be the ones who confess. Xamar would seem the more likely considering he seems the more open-minded of the bunch. If they are the prophecy of the five, i'd consider him the light. Raana would be the darkness, Feln the darkness in the light, Q'Anilia the light in the darkness and Lucien the one who stands apart from them all because he's not a seer. This is the group that Krynda has forseen or atleast she thinks.
This is how I see the Covenant shaping out within the next decade...
The Covenant=The Sith Triumvant
The Shadow agents=The Sith Assassins

Yeah, just based on personality, Xamar has always struck me as the level headed one who would do the sensible thing. I've always been surprised by the vision of him dying (one would assume for not clearing Zayne's name) given his character.

Indeed. And this makes them much more interesting than your run of the mill baddie. To this day, Homecoming is my favorite single issue in the series, and possibly my favorite story in the series.
