Oh, no! Then Karath and the rest will go mad because they´ve seen him!

Havac posted: I'm still mildly annoyed by the space-only-has-two-dimensions tactics. What, no one can come in from the poles and go completely around the "blockade"?
That does stick out in what would be an awesome scene, yes.
EmperorPL posted: Maybe there isn't anything important in the poles, or there are some military bases which can defend themself, the fleet is needed to defend most weak points.
So the "weak points" would all accidentally be on the same thin, straight line around the equator?

In his house at B'elnar dead Xamar waits dreaming.

if anyone remember's xamar's part of the "prophecy", the fleet was pushing back the mandalorians, anyone catch that part? most likely, the mandies will turn up right after zayne with any luck, an the willawah will manuver into the blockade an the computer will try to hit zayne an company but instead being damaged by mandie fire, hit's where xamar is and dies, or he cood turn out to be the only sane one an actually abandon his post, an go into exile only to be killed off late by lucien siding with haazen O:]

I just realized, Xamar mentioned Mandalorians and that's just what Karath thinks Zayne is. My guess is that Zayne tries to run from the blockade, then somthing goes wrong with the computers and the fleet attacks the sureswift. Karath abandons ship and Xamar is killed, leaving the prophecy one step closer to fulfillment and Karath in need of a new ship (mabey one designed to prevent enemies from escaping to hyperspace...). I think it is long past time for Alek to show up with the cavalry. I get the feeling that Alek is someone Karath would listen to.

I'm still uncertain whether Xamar will actually be killed since the blurb for #32 says:
The prophecy that was seen by Zayne’s Masters appears to be coming true. Two pieces of the sequence have come to pass . . . and those who remain alive are still fighting to prevent their vision from becoming a reality. The Jedi Consulars are beginning to doubt themselves and it’s possible they have overlooked a true source of danger!
We already have two: Raana and Feln. Xamar would make it three pieces.
Due to the lack of a body in the Xamar vision I'm guessing he doesn't actually die but maybe manages to make it to an escape pod with Karath or something.

And if we're going for semantics, Lucien wouldn't make a cosular plural, so it would be Xamar and Q'anila.
I still think Xamar will die like in the vision, though, only that it will be later. Maybe he survives this issue, gets cocky and then dies two issues down the road when he boards another ship

That's what I'm thinking. I think Xamar being on this ship is just a red herring, one designed to fool the reader and to make Xamar think he's beaten the vision, only to find out the hard way that he didn't...

Personally I get the feeling he's being set up as Haazen fodder.
Q'Anilia I'm unsure about given in the vision we never see her die. But she could just as easily be cut down two seconds after the vision ends with Haazen still standing over Krynda's body.
I'm predicting a situation where Xamar takes Zayne to the Draay Estate where they meet up with Q'Anilia and all head in to deal with Haazen... only to realise they're too late and Xamar probably die -- either then or, like you say, in another ship later on, maybe being fired upon by Haazen/Lucien's ship while they're escaping.

Somehow, it would make sense if Q'anila would confess and survive while Lucien "dies" to become Sion...
Not that any of this would happen in #31, though...

It's a visual device, but I could also say that you're seeing a starting orbital formation there, formed on the plane of the ecliptic with zones of control divided longitudinally. The poles are actually the most protected, as they're in the firing arcs of every ship at once. (Hey, it also makes it easier for the miniature players to simulate! )

My utilisation of complex locution to ask what's more pathetic, fans who worship their movie actors, or the actors who couldn't give a damn, is more a reflection of my own superincumbent mental actuity than any circumscribed lexicon. Don't you agree?
