Sorry but I think Ben/Tahiri is going to happen some time down the road.

Also the only way to redeem and stop someone as relentless as Caedus is that you have to knock them out. I have the book and reading it. Clearly the situation is like this: there's good in him but he has an intense hunger to kill that is driving him to Michael Myers obsession. Yes, he is like a walking bloodthirsty zombie in this book with good in his heart. You try to reach it, he denies it but it comes out anyway. A very strange case that could only be dealt with by either killing him or locking him up in the most maximum secure prison. Sad to say it, the only way Jaina could bring him in alive was that she would've had to shoot him with a stun blast from a blaster. Because sad say it Darth_Carle, he wouldn't have willingly came back to the light. He didn't even know what light was anymore or that he actually had some inside him. But he did.

I'm still geeking out on how Luke is able to turn the tables on Cadeus without even having to leave the ships. Though it is hard to be glad about it when some say it was all of the dark side.

I'm glad Luke's doing something...erm, interesting and from the sounds of it fairly impressive, but a little disappointed that his actions are apparently a little dark or seem hypocritical.

But actually, it's more like 90% glad and 10% worried...and I can't really blame the guy too much, as it's understandable that he's angry or bitter or depressed.

I'm hoping that my "90% glad" doesn't change after reading the book... raised_brow tongue

It shouldn't. I don't see how messing with a crazy Sith Lords visions to turn the tide of battle to the good guys favor is of the dark side.

Earthknight: Do you knock the Sith Lord out with the stun blaster before or after he snaps your neck with a single thought? I'm not trying to be snarky, I'd really like to know. peace

Cause Jacen/Darth Caedus without any arms or legs at all would still be the farthest from defenseless that you can imagine.

Why does everyone need a happy friendly ending. This is Star WARS. Not Star Peace. I am sad that the last true line of the Sith is gone. I wanted Caedus to win. But other than that, it was a good series. As for Tahiri's seduction....obivously those who have a problem with it, didn't read the book. It was so obivous that she was avoiding torturing Ben. She needed to get information out of him....and the alternatives were too dark for her.

My only complaints with this series was that Corran Horn didn't buy it. He annoys me as much Pelleon.

I tend to think the story of the Big Three should end like ROTJ, not ROTS.

If ROTJ ended up with Luke going evil and being killed by Leia, Han having died already in ESB, Leia dating Piett, and Grievous returning out of nowhere to rule the galaxy, it would be a terrible movie and a terrible end to the series.

The way the EU's shaping up, there will never be a satisfactory ending to the Big Three's story. There will absolutely never be a satisfying ending to the YJK/JJK crew's stories now.

I, personally, think that's a shame.

Simple: knock them to the ground, pull out the stun blaster, and shoot. Since Jaina is a Jedi, it shouldn't be too hard. A jedi should be equipped with two weapons: a lightsaber and a stun pistil.

Can someone let me know just how much damage does Jaina take in her two duels with Caedus?

Off the top of my head, in the first battle I know that she gets a huge gash in her head which made her forget a lot of the stuff that happened after the battle, like her asking both Zekk and Jag to sleep with her (at the same time, if I'm not mistaken).

I don't remember how injured she was after the second, but I think it was pretty bad.

She was burnt pretty bad, I think on her back and I got the impression that Jacen sliced a nice bit of her abdomen... *needs to read it again(

It was pretty dang bloody though...

Here's a question I've been wanting to ask. As we know, Luke was inserting his image in Cadeus's visions. But in his last vision about Allana before he dies, Jaina appears in it. Why did Luke insert Jaina in his last vision rather than himself?
