LOL. I think this is very unlikely.
As much as I love Luke, reading Luke-scenes & whatnot  and had sort of hoped he would be the one to deal with Jacen in the end, I am glad Jaina's stepping into the spotlight.
I'm certainly not rooting for Jacen, despite how much I pity him, and liked him during NJO...
I can sort of see him being redeemed. However, it's what could take place after he's possibly redeemed that I can't imagine. I mean, where would he go, would his family [Luke and Ben, namely] even be on speaking terms? Redeemed, maybe. Completely forgiven? Certainly not.
Although, ha, not much is certain at this point. 
I think Jacen's going to die though...

I don't think that's really good sarcasm - sorry  - as it instead sounds like a believable plot for a future epic series of novels. Placed about 55-60 ABY at the earliest.

This is what I think. Caedus will not kill Tenal ka. Instead he'll cut of her other arm, thereby leaving her helpless as he makes her watch the man she loved kill their child. Karmarific!

The whole masking thing is just a massive  with me.
It just seems so, well, odd. The only reason I can think of is to retcon one of the visions of Luke to allow Jaina to take the spotlight. I'm used to Denning thinking up creative uses of the Force but I'm just baffled what the in character reason would be to make Jacen think he was fighting Luke instead. Is the idea to scare him or something?
I just can't seem to wrap my head around it. 
While I'm hoping for the Ulic Qel-Droma treatment of being stripped of the Force, I just hope we don't get the complete Uli Qel-Droma treatment with Jacen killing Jaina only to break down in tears after realising what he's done. I suppose though it could explain the killing Luke vision had he ended up facing Luke but not killed Mara he would have killed Luke, but because its Jaina instead he'll end up unable to make the final blow or something.
I can see ways it could work for the final outcome but I can't for the life of me work out what would cause Luke to initially decide "I'll make Jaina look like me". Luke doesn't know about Jacen's vision so I can't work out how he would think it'd help her, unless this is all a massive case of overanalysing and its as simple as just to lure Jacen into the open with a more tempting target.
Maybe it just feels so silly to me because I have this image in my head of Luke pretending he looks like Yoda to lure Palpatine down to the surface of Endor for a final duel. I just can't help but feel that would be totally rediculous.

Oh, that's just great. Put him on the same level as his grandfather. Then Pelleaon's musings on how he, Luke, Leia, Fett and ... little Lord Vader being back in the game ... why the entire thing would be ridiculous.

I guess I'm too sentimental. I want Luke to take Jacen out. Luke is the Master, after all. Even at his age, he's still the best with the lightsaber and using force skills. In fact, he's continually surprising Jacen with his powers. Luke could have killed him many times over. It would be so satisfying to see him cut Caedus in half. However, I think Denning has other plans.

Jacen's fate should be a blend of Ulic Quel-Droma and the new Battlestar Galactica's Baltar. The Jedi Council should 'strip' Jacen of Midi-Clorian use. Maroon him on a primitive planet out in Wild Space. Meanwhile every vengeful Corellian and Mandalorian can hunt for Jacen's location. To have 'true' justice on the beaten Sith Lord-in-exile. At some point one of these hunters discovers Allana's connection to Jacen. But that may be the story arc of another series of novels/comics. Oh and one other thing Jaina should remove Jacen's hands with a well placed saber. Thus helping to weaken Jacen enough for capture. So when Jacen is on that primitive Wild Space planet he must rely on the charity of the planet's sentient inhabitants. Or go ahead give the guy bionic hands. The idea being that Jacen needs to get back to the basics of life on a farm. Life on a farm did Luke good. It made him less likely to go dark over the pitfalls of moral relativity like Jacen did. Luke's nephew has never really had to live a pauper's life. So my suggestion is not to listen to the blood thirsty adrenline junkies of Star Wars fandom (you know the kind I mean - always wanting bigger and badder fights), but to the whispers of irony, mercy and mythic structure.

Worst case scenario-jaina beheads Jacen in front of Allana. Allana is then reminded of how evil Jedi are and of an event she's probably never actually heard of (Jango Fett) and say 'Mommy I wann be a Mando!'
I still hope Tahiri is acting and that she does Caedus in to redeem herself.
