	We're talking about evil on a grand scale, but what about individual? C.S. Lewis pointed out in one of his books, that just because you have 20 people sitting in a bus each with a tooth ache (And let's say that tooth ache is 2 on a scale to 10) does not mean that there is 20X2 pain in that bus. In other words, it's not cumulative. Five people with tooth aches doesn't translate to a feeling of 'pain' that is five times worse all together, each set is self contained within the individual. What if someone else on the bus had a broken leg that was a 6 or 8 on the scale? Their agony would be far superior to the ones with a mere tooth ache. It's a matter of perspective. That's why I still say Sith mind torture is the worst evil one can perpetuate in Star Wars. I don't think it's ever been shown that a single person ever recovered from it. We never see it. It's one of those hushed up atrocities no one talks about because everyone wants to forget it. That's far scarier to me than a giant laser vaping a planet. -----signature----- Peace to corrupt, no less than war to waste.

The billions on Alderaan didn't recover from death, either. The problem with ignoring the grand scale is that it's the only way to successfully perform any sort of evaluation. Sure, you can compare, one by one, those people vaporized versus a torture victim and conclude that yes, the torture victim died a worse death than each of them. But frankly, does that even mean anything? They're both dead, in the end. 	Darth Malak bombing worlds into rubble left and right. No regard for human life. Takes the dead bodies of Jedi and uses them for fuel basically. I always thought he was pretty damn evil.

The Red Wedding was brutal, but to be fair, Robb had it coming. You can't promise to marry one girl and then go off and marry another without expecting some ramifications.
