In Kolverine's defence, it wasn't just Nihl who was blasting him with lightning. There's at least one other Sith (Lord?) doing it (if you look at the hands in the panel) and Cade says that it took "a half dozen" to take him down.

Sure, but it was only something I noticed recently. On my first few readings I had thought Nihl had blasted him all on his lonesome. So I thought it was worth pointing out, just in case I wasn't a unique case.

Luke trying to redeem Darth Vader, Vader was a grown man that choose to be really evil and didnt want to change, same thing with Lucifer, nobody tried to redeem him because he didnt want it, Luke should have beheaded Vader in ROTJ after cutting his hand off, Luke then dies and so does Palpatine, the Jedi and the Sith both die along with the Empire until Yoda returns as a ghost and trains Leia.
