My utilisation of complex locution to ask what's more pathetic, fans who worship their movie actors, or the actors who couldn't give a damn, is more a reflection of my own superincumbent mental actuity than any circumscribed lexicon. Don't you agree?

I thought of a cool idea the other day. White Eyes was interested in learning about the "phantom" force ability, right? Perhaps he has learned it, and is controlling a phantom that looks like somebody else (say, Niathal?) to command fleets and cause trouble. Nobody would know the One Sith are behind it, or where the true source is. But when somebody finally does kill this phantom, because of the link we learned about in Betrayal it also kills White Eyes too. So that way we can have the One Sith as a threat, without them being revealed! And if the phantom they use is someone like Niathal or even Caedus or someone else thought to be long dead, fighting this "phantom" before they realize what it really is would be very creepy and frightening!

I think Millennium Falcon would make an excellent live action or CGI Han Solo spin-off movie with Harrison Ford returning as Han Solo or doing the voice of Solo. I think it would be a good epilogue movie for Han Solo and/or the Falcon if they blow up it in this book. It would also refrence the prequels and who were the previous owners of the Falcon and who owned it during the Clone Wars when we saw the Falcon land on Coruscant in ROTS? I think if Lucas isn't doing Episodes 7-9 he should at least do an epilogue post-Jedi CGI film with the big three or do a CGI Han Solo film trilogy with the Millennium Falcon book the last chapter of the trilogy.
Here's my idea of a Han Solo movie trilogy:
Part I:The legend of Han Solo
Han Solo is a kid on Corellia and is picked up and raised by Garris Shrike on the ship Trader's Luck and escapes to become a pilot on the planet Ylesia and falls in love with Bria and later joins the Imperial Navy only later to be discharged by rescuing a Wookie named Chewbacca and takes on odd jobs and meets a con man named Lando Calrissian and challenges him to a card game of Sabacc and wins Lando's ship the Millennium Falcon and Han and Chewie begin their adventures from one side of the galaxy to the other. (Han Solo would be voiced by a younger actor.)
Part II:Han Solo, the Corporate Sector and the Kessel Run
Han and Chewie seek adventure in an area of the galaxy known as the Corporate Sector and befriends a robot named Bollux and his friend inside his chest known as Blue Max and an old man simply known as Doc and his daughter Jessa while they rescue prisoners from Star's End,confront a gun slinger named Gallandro and seek treasure on the planet Dellalt in the Tion Hegomy and finally return to Imperial Space and make the Kessel Run while dumping a load of spice belonging to Jabba the Hutt and finally ending up on Tatooine in Mos Eisley's Cantina about to meet a certain farmboy and an old man with a lightsaber.
Part III:Han Solo and the untold legend of the Millennium Falcon
It is nearly 40 years after the Battle of Endor and Han has been married to Princess Leia Organa and has a daughter named Jaina and a granddaughter named Allana and recently lost two sons:Anakin Solo in the Yuuzhan Vong invasion and recently Jaina's twin Jacen to the dark side of the Force. Han,Leia and Allana Solo go off on a quest to learn all about Han's beloved ship the Falcon while facing a threat to the Force and the Jedi Order. (Harrison Ford could return as the voice of the aging Solo.)
This would make an awesome CGI SW trilogy starring Han Solo front and center.

This isn't really a thread for fanon ideas about what should happen with a CGI spinoff trilogy.

Han, L;eia & ALlanan..
BAH!!!
I freakin miss Chewie!
That's what this last series & the NJO we're missing...
---I'd like to seee Leia be the new jedi diplomat or the 1st senator that represents the jedi order in the GA. Thus leaving Allana alone with her grandpa riding co-pilot doing whatever it is that Han does when there's no great galactic threat...I hope this or something alike is setup in MF....
----Leia as the co-pilot makes them waaay to powerful. She's ANAKINS DAUGHTER AND IS ATLAST ACTING LIKE IT. aTLEAST AS FAR AS HER FORCE POWERS ARE CONCERNED. (bah! oops caps)))Add that to Han'd super Solo luck & the Falcons awesomeness. It's overkill eh?

I hope this book isn't just a re hash of more wars, i mean Star Wars will always have well wars, but I need more, history of the Falcon would be groovy, but move away from going from ahh it's so peaceful to we're being attacked by an unknown enemy, sheesh.
This book will be glorious.

Millenium Falcon has now traded dates with Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor; it's being released earlier.

This to me smacks of damage control. MF needs to come out earlier from a marketing POV. Why else change dates?

Pretty poor damage control, if you ask me.
This rescheduling has instilled great and violent rage in me.

Oh big skippy deal. You lads wait half a year for a hardcover; I'll be waiting a year for the paperback. Read Cast in Shadows in the meantime.

It's all a big tease though. They say they'll give you something in Feburary, and it ends up on your doorstep 11 months later...that's annoying to say the least.

DR is getting panicky in their damage control efforts, it seems. I like it!
Pity about Mindor, though. But good things are worth waiting for, surely?

I understand that well, Elipsis. How do you think I feel, waiting a whole year for the next Malazan book, and knowing Jedi Ben has already read the next, Dragnipur take him! Book 7 is just about to paperback. I had to stop my Legacy reading until Sacrifice softcovered; I'll read Order 66 a year after everyone.
I want to read Shadowrealm now.
Fortunately, I have a long reading list to saving throw my impatience.
