CBR interview with JJM, containing a bit of Vindication info and preview pages.
Edit: Er, for KotOR 31. Not 32. 31. Oops.

Preview!
Zayne with the Talisman and Sith Eyes? Whoa! Definitely a ruse since we know the talisman goes with Celeste into the Oubliette, but scary nonetheless.
The dialogue between Gryph and Xamar is great, and there's a statue of Vodo-Siosk Baas! Holla!

I concur. Xamar is awesome.
Unless it's all a ruse, in which case he's a sneaky devil. But a sneaky awesome devil.

So Xamar confesses? Does this make him the one that lives in Zayne's prophecy? I hope so, I'm starting to like him.

Maybe. I get the feeling that he'll be killed by "friendly fire" though. As in, killed by his fellow Jedi...

I would certainly hope Xamar survives all this.
Perhaps as punishment, they can make him Zayne's new master after all this clears up. Force knows trying to keep Zayne from getting himself killed should keep him busy enough that he shouldn't cause any trouble. ;-)

Wow, this issue sounds is so going to be awesome after looking at this preview. And wow, they've got three new previews up on all the upcoming Star Wars issues!
And wow, I'm almost liking Xamar now. He seems pretty observant, noting the Covenant, Revanchist and the Jedi Council's flaws. And did he say he confessed to the Council already?! Wow, hope Zayne's name is cleared after this. And yeah, scary image of Zayne with what looks like a mock-up of the Muur Talisman. At least it was a better ruse than the one used to sneak by the Mandalorians on Jebble, and can't wait to see what Gryph's "distraction" will be. And nice to see the Seers are still devoted to Krynda, but they're probably all in for a nasty surprise though, if/when he gets to her chambers. Oh well, surviving insanity is what Gryph and Zayne do best.

I wouldn't bet against it. I just don't really want him to die.

He is defiantly a likable Jedi. Pretty level headed as compared to the rest of the Covenant. Although it hurts me to say it, I don't see him surviving for very long. I'm hoping otherwise though

Xamar is fast becoming my favorite member of the Covenant; this is only cementing that opinion.

I thought that too!!! But I can't imagine a connection between those two...
And yeah, Kicker, as you elegantly expressed he did kill his padawan. But he was so caught up in the idea of the "greater good" that he committed an action he wouldn't have normally. Redemption IS a major theme in SW you know....

Of course, currently old fashioned redemption has given way to ambiguous redemption, without certainty.
