Darth Vader successfully lures Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia into a trap that could cripple the Rebel Alliance, as “Vector” -- the most important Star Wars event of 2008 -- concludes its third arc, setting the stage for the final galaxy-shaking showdown in Star Wars: Legacy!

On the dark surface of a desolate moon, Luke and Leia meet their first Jedi since Obi-Wan Kenobi, only to realize too late this Knight of the Old Republic is far different than their fallen friend -- twisted by the Sith’s Muur Talisman and enraged by Darth Vader! Together, Luke and Leia must make a choice with far-reaching consequences, not just for themselves, but for the fate of the entire galaxy!

Seriously, I'm really happy for him (he seems pretty thrilled to be doing the classic era), but I miss him on KotOR already. tongue

Its awesome seeing Celeste drawn like that. grin

Oh and Dustin's doing the art for this one? Fantastic! Vector is shaping up nicely. Though it is weird to think of Luke dueling another fallen Jedi before ESB... Unless thats the cover taking liberties.

Yeah, that is one very nice cover. Celeste still looks pretty as ever, but I wonder if she got stuck back into that Oubilette thing or whether the Talisman is keeping her young in the Dark Times to Rebellion time gap. Sounds like by now that she can't resist the Talisman's corruption, but I just hope the Muur thingy doesn't try to jump to Luke, considering Luke's a Force powerhouse. Although, would Vader really sic Celeste on Luke, considering how... unstable she probably is by now? Vader's obsessed with capturing Luke, not killing him. Unless Vader's hoping to turn Luke by using the Talisman. Wonder if the Talisman will be able to sense Leia's latent Force powers too.

And where's Han while all this is going on? Since this is Rebellion's last issue for a while, he'd better show up during Vector. If only so he can take potshots at Sith stuff. And yay, Weaver, the art's going to be awesome. Though what kind of outfit is Luke wearing? I can't tell if its armor, generic jumpsuit or what.

Off doing the early Marvel stuff. Or something. He's absent from Luke & Leia's early adventures quite a bit (see SOTME), since Ford hadn't renewed his contract. His absence is only in keeping.

Don't forget that Han Solo is also involved with Renegade Squadron around this timeframe, too. I haven't played the game so I don't know HOW involved, but that may be another reason why he's not yet been in the Rebellion series.

Ulicus beat me with the He-Man quip, but excellent cover.

Jeez...this cover shows just how little justice the KOTOR authors do Celeste.

You mean the artists? Or artist, I guess.

Huh. Did not expect that. Gotta love it when comic covers do what they are meant to do and make you want to see the story behind them right now!

Pretty! That's probably the best cover in Vector thus far (and that's not meaning any offense to Dustin's covers for the KotOR section). Absolutely striking, and unique thus far. These are probably the only two issues of Rebellion I'll pick up, but pick them up I will. grin

And yeah, it's weird how pretty Celeste is...

I'll be very curious to see how she's changed between now and then, given her resistance to the Talisman early on. But given 4000 years in the Oubliette with Muur babbling at her, who can say how tormented she is?
