Ah... Oh... Well... Heard it was good. And by LFL.
I don't know. I just don't think that, as invested as you are in the material, you will be ABLE to cut the ties. I think SW is part of you, as with many of the folks here, and you're just... repositioning it.

Iron Man was very, very excellent. Starts off slow, but very good adaptation of the franchise.
For anyone that sees it though, STAY AFTER THE CREDITS. Mace Windu pops up after the credits for a particular reason i do not want to spoil.
This has been your "Awkward Ad Of The Day."

Very brief OT post in response to Iron Man mention: How good are the effects on a film that has both ILM and Stan Winston Studio plus others? It's mind-blowing: Great film with a wonderful soundtrack.

You could be right...I could be in denial.
But I'm okay with that at the moment.
If I suffer withdrawal, I'll let people know there are physical consequences...and we'll get the universe labeled as a controlled substance.
One nice thing is...right now, I don't think there is anybody in my immediate circle who will be pushing to rush out too it...which helps...there won't be peer pressure...except from here.

Well, I would comment, but it wouldn't really be TOS-appropriate.
So I'll leave you with this, which effectively summarizes my feelings on the matter:

The Clone Wars comics are now going to be squashed into a one month period, like Marvel?
I don't think it will screw Kenobi and Skyalker's timelines very much - may affect Vos, but if we're lucky, they'll just cut down on the time he spends in that Brentaal prison cell.

Psh.
I've seen it all before.
From the Nagai to Kessel to Boba Fett, and back... I was there.
And whenever I complained, Havac, you were always like 'there's nothing wrong with continuity!'
Psh.

In regards to Vos, I was always confused as to where that guy was and for how long he was there and what the kriff he was doing. I just lump it under "He walks the shadows, brooding and being naughty". So, even before this new CGI CW, I was still totally clueless as to his place in the timeline.

Ok...the "you got served" april fools banner from last year just went up.
Does that have something to do with this thread?
I might actually be amused by this.

I put it up. Because the other outright wacky canon-war April Fools' banner was broken.
