ugh. 5 novels, a young reader series and a comic series.
I guess I'm not going to be able to just discount this as part of the continuity, am I?
Nope.

General Whorm Loathsom?
Sounds like someone out of Spaceballs not Star Wars.
As far as continuity, if it's a good story and I like it I'll be easy on the timeline mistakes.

The young adult novel series was previously announced, but the series of 5 novelizations was not.
Does anyone know what Karen Miller's writing is like?

Very much like Traviss', although she tends to focus more on emotions. She writes tight third rather like Traviss. I haven't read her latest but I thought her INNOCENT MAGE and AWAKENED MAGE books were quite good.

I do not understand why some of you don't want to view this as canon. I suppose, if you were alive then, you didn't want to view The Empire Strikes Back as canon either because it would have changed what you thought you knew about Star Wars?

Yeah. Aside from a few timeline issues (but since when were those new), I'm not seeing how this is radically altering canon. I guess we'll just have to wait and see when the movie/show comes out how much things will be affected, but so far my "canon buster" meter is back in the green and I'm feeling pretty good about this series.

This was so funny because it reminded me of reading the letter columns in the Marvel Star Wars comics and even back then, people were still complaining that the comics were ruining the movies and changing too much/not changing things enough, focusing too much on Luke and Co./not focusing on Luke and Co. enough....aahhhh. Some things never change

Interesting stuff - not quite a databank update, but they've categorized existing entries for Clone Wars.
Stuff that sticks out:
R4-P17 (Obi-Wan's existing one - is this the pink droid?)
Y-Wing and V-19
Luminara Unduli
Bunch of Trade Fed capital ships they clearly already had models for
Some Republic ships they clearly already had models for
Other stuff on both sides
501st
Rex
Commander Gree
Commander Thire
Wat Tambor
Nute Gunray
Grievous's starfighter? (also Grievous)
other expected starfighters
Aayla Secura
Senate Guard
RA-7
power droid (Gonk)
P-38 starfighter (a ROTS cut they had a model for :P)
can-cell (another ROTS cut they had a model for, I think :P)
Jar-Jar
clone trooper pilots
Kit Fisto
Plo Koon
solar sailer
2-1B
and a bunch of more or less expected Tatooine stuff, as well as other misc.

I have a printout of a scan of a pre-1981 Marvel letter column wherein a reader complains that the Marvel writers have been neglecting the Luke and Leia romance and have been treating them more like brother and sister than young lovers. Fantastic stuff.

Gree and Thire? Man, they're going all out on the ROTS Clones.
EDIT: Hmm...so Gree now uses a jetpack, Rex and the 501st were initially assigned to Anakin, and they seem to have removed the "Ghost Squadron" reference on Cody's page.

That person was mistaken. Star Wars has always been at war with Euras - I mean, has always been six parts.
