Forgive the new thread but I didn't want to risk spoiling myself.

I'm behind on my Clone Wars stories. If I want to read Jedi Twilight ASAP, what stories should I read prior to starting?

Shatterpoint and the MedStar duology are drawn upon in the story, as is Darth Maul Shadow Hunter.

I wouldn't necessarily say they're pre-requisite reading, as their plotlines are referenced pretty well in the story. The story is easy to get into, but I'd recommend the MedStar duology if anything - for establishing two of the main characters incredibly well.

Isn't Nick Rostu in this novel? I hope so because I liked his character.

Nick Rostu has a large part in it, yes. I'd already read Shatterpoint years ago and bought Shadow Hunter the day I bought Jedi Twilight. I have read both now and I'm very glad I read Shadow Hunter first.

I still haven't read any Medstar though I am interested now, but I could see what was going on with the Medstar characters so I wouldn't say it was essential.

I thought Shadow Hunter and the Medstar books were pretty good, though it's been awhile since I read them. If you're a MASH fan there's definitely a MASH influence in the Medstar books.

Remember, there is a MedStar character in Death Star, as well, so I reckon they're useful books to read.

Haven't read Death Sta yet either (I'm waiting for the paperback) but I will endeavour to read Medstar first.

I haven't read Shatterpoint and Shadow Hunter in 4+ years, do you guys think I should re-read them? I remember the basic plots but do they really enhance Jedi Twilight?

I still need to read the Medstars for the first time too.

I would definitely require reading Shadow Hunter and the Medstar books before reading this. Shatterpoint maybe.

Dramatis personae spoiler, but the novel Shadows of the Empire would be recommended.

EDIT: If you haven't read those in a while, I don't think you need to reread them as long as you remember the characters and basic plots.
