Her going "light" because of Ben does not (and should not) translate to a marriage proposal. I sincerely hope TPTB are not so lazy as to merely do Mara Jade v2.0, hence my previous comment. 	Daala : Her going "light" because of Ben does not (and should not) translate to a marriage proposal. I agree about that. While I have no objection at all to the idea of Ben redeeming Vestara, and maybe even having the two of them become friends (I do think Ben needs friends!), I think it would be too similar to Luke and Mara to have an eventual Ben/Vestara romantic pairing. I'd like Ben to eventually (not for a long time) marry someone totally different from other characters we've seen so far. Maybe a doctor or a teacher or a librarian or an accountant. Someone fairly normal.

Someone fairly normal. Yes! THANK YOU! There's a mentality that seems to prohibit the opportunity for women and men to be friends. Does not have to automatically translate to, "Now they have to have teh secks, teh marriage and teh babehs!!!11eleventy!" Or whatever order makes you the most comfortable. Whatever, y'all get my point. And yes, Ben needs friends! Someone fairly normal. Well, it would be some time in the future. At least after whatever deus ex machina ends Luke's exile, I'd say. All I can be sure of (thanks to Legacy) is that it's a human female. And yes, Ben needs friends. Luke is…a dad. Not quite the same thing as a friend. I would blame the fact that it's Luke's perspective, but we got a lot of Ben in LOTF.

Growing up in a Sith society, and an obscure and segregated one like the lost tribe, I doubt she's ever considered that her actions are 'dark' or 'evil'.
