At long last, Knights of the Old Republic will conclude Zayne's long journey as a fugitive Jedi Padawan -- but not before an astounding climax that will set a brand-new path for him to follow! Jedi Knights fighting? Coruscant burning? Sounds like a good set up for the Revanchists.

Oh and one step closer for the big reveal as Gryph as the Sith Lord. I can just imagine Zayne being tempted as Gryph pretends to be in imminent danger of death. Palpatine will of course steal this idea 4,000 years later to turn Anakin in his duel with Mace Windu tongue

I could also see Lucien about to strike down a "defenseless" Gryph as the latter urges him to give in to his anger wink (Also for a split second I thought Gryph was shooting Force Lightning which almost made me piss my pants)

Edit: Oh and duh Point Given, Lucien is rocking the red lightsaber. Hmmmm I wonder if its the one Haazen's sporting on the cover of #33 thinking

Gryph fighting Lucien?!? shock Brilliant! grin

My guess is that Gryph will take care of Lucien and Zayne will still not have killed anyone. happy

Seeing Lucien with a red lightsaber is very interesting. Can't wait for this issue!

Lucien with a red lightsaber (where he'd get that?) vs. Gryph with a gun? Ah, poor Lucien doesn't have a chance. Funny how there's no Zayne on the cover, but this is the third cover in a row with Lucien on it. And yay, the Zayne the fugitive storyline might finally be coming to an end as sounds like the Rogue Moon prophecy is about to come true. Wonder how many Covenant members will survive. But this is going to be a great conclusion (hopefully), and maybe Zayne will finally be able to stop running. Hm, knowing him, nah.

I like Zayne as a fugitive...I think the story needs that.

I have to say, I'm impressed that Zayne's conflict with his former masters didn't drag on forever. In fact, three years is pretty lean. Well done, DH, though I think it is kind of in Zayne's character to always be running from something. He isn't the luckiest fellow around tongue

And, yeah. Sion...

Wow. What a cover. Different from the other three Ching covers of the arc, but in a very good way. Who is that cover by? It's... magnificent. And that short synopsis is positively mouth-watering. Zayne and Lucien both being tempted by the dark side suggests several different things --- tempted in their hate for eachother? Or tempted... together?? Perhaps Lucien can be semi-redeemed and join the Revanchists along with Zayne.

But then... the fact that this is the final cover of an essentially 35-issue arc, and features not Zayne fighting Lucien, but Gryph, suggests to me, that one of those two will bite it. Maybe not, but the fact that it's Gryph on the cover has gotta be significant. Will he kill Lucien just as he did Raana Tey?

Come on, Zayne joining the Revanchists! dancing

Edit: Is that a statue of Barrison in the background?

The waiting is too hard! Hah!

I think this is the least thing I would have expected to take place, but a very desirable thing in my mind. A conclusion to the original storyline will only give a rise to another one. I wouldn't believe Zayne would actually fall, but might be Lucien turns into the fugitive and Zayne the hunter. Maybe Lucien escapes to the planet Malachor even.

He always was messed up, and surely he could become a Sith Lord without too much effort on Haazen's part. All he would need to do is convince him that Barrison wasn't who Lucien thought he was and fill his head with lies. happy

I wonder if this will prompt the Mandalorians into attacking Coruscant prematurely, which I think would be a great recruiting tool for the revanchists.

I didn't catch that at first glance. Nice TOTJ reference, although Gryph seems a little behind the times.

Can't believe its the end of Zayne's 'run'. I wonder what trouble will befall him next?
