Jmacq1 posted:I would imagine it's entirely possible that the ship in question is neither Vader, Tarkin, nor Palpatine's "personal" vessel. Perhaps instead it's simply the "command ship" of the permanent garrison that protects the nascent Death Star, and the three august personages are simply temporary guests, as taking their "personal" vessels might attract more attention than they care to draw at that particular point. A bit convoluted, sure, but it seems plausible.

However, everyone seems to think that there are specific references to the Imperial command ship here as a VenStar (examples, people?), and we also have repeated appearance in T-canon of VenStars with the same bridge design, all of which tend to support the idea that this is simply a VenStar bridge.
