I think Cade's developing a conscious. He's done the Jedi con 5 times and everytime the Imps are relieved and grateful for a Jedi to save them. Plus, there's everything he's already done. That's why he wasn't excited about the successful job and Syn and Blue were wondering if he's useing again. He's nearing a breaking point. A visitation from Luke might push him over the edge back into the light.

I'm suprised that the other two would let him use such an obvious alias.

Of course, there are probably a billion other Luke Skywalkers in the GFFA given the scale of the galactic population, but it doesn't make it any less stupid.

"Luke Skywalker"? While operating from Tattoine? Cade needs to grow a brain.

Interesting that the Imperials are happy that a "Jedi" is "saving" them each time.

Veed is a goner.

What a great issue! applause applause

So many great connections back to prior plotlines in the series. This really does feel like the start of Act Two, with so many elements starting to weave together in new ways. grin

I find it hilarious how gullible Veed is when it comes to Calixte. Has he really not figured out that Calixte has a convenient excuse to be AWOL every time Calixte assigns Corde on a mission? laugh laugh laugh

I had a different take than some people have on Cade's choice of alias. Given the reaction of Lun Rask to hearing it (that Muz the fence is a complete stoopa for falling for it), I think it's clearly portrayed as an obviously fake name - equivalent to something like checking into a hotel under the name "Tom Cruise" or "Barack Obama" in the real world. And with the name being so obviously bogus that it couldn't possibly be real, why would anyone ever think that the person using actually is related to the real Luke Skywalker? tongue

laugh Do you mean from the afterlife??

Onto the issue:
It kind of bugged me that everyone doesn't automatically know the name Luke Skywalker but I laughed out loud nonetheless. Yeah, I couldn't really ask for much more in an arc setup. A lot is going on. I was hoping we might see Calixte by the last page but alas.

If Veed keeps pressing the Krayt issue he won't live long. I'm not sure why Wyrrlok needs to remove Veed yet outside of that issue and Veed knows nothing. With Fel alive and kicking, losing Veed might leave paranoid fear as The One's only way to ensure allegiance.

I also want to mention that I like Gunners realistic proportions. We saw the goods and it was well in keeping with how hot women tend to look. I wouldn't want her to cause the same rampant drooling icon usage as her mother. tongue

Cade was Cade. Nothing traumatic for us to reel over. I'm looking forward to #38!

I assumed that Moff Gromia wasn't familiar with the name when she was briefing Gunner. But if Cade's looking to get caught, this would be a good way to go about it.

What, you didn't see Gromia roll her eyes in a 'give me a break' kind of way? rolling_eyes

I missed it. She must have done that while we were looking at Gunner. wink

More later, but I thought Cade using "Luke Skywalker" was hilarious! Snark, FTW. tongue (Reminded me of Syn's line about Roan Fel being his daddy, LOL.)

If Calixte sends out a Corde impersonator once in a while, it should get him quite.

Prediction for Legacy #40? Anyhow, I assume she would then conveniently dispose of them... wink

Luke: Still, I think I make a pretty good Luke Skywalker.
Mara: Of course you do.
Luke: So before you began impersonating Mara, what was your real hair color?
Mara: Farmboy, you're asking for a beating...

On the page where Cade & crew reveal themselves to the Imp crew and Black Sun thug, Deliah was looking totally smokin' in that new outfit! I actually said "Wow!" out loud when I flipped the page and saw her. Great work Jan!
