Well, finally things are heating up!!!! I have begun with a CLEAN SLATE (again!!!!), but now it is final: with the publication of the Essential Atlas (an Essential book if there ever was one), and with the establishment of the 12-month-calendar as canon (well sort-of anyway) by Leland Chee (initiated by Nathan Butler who developed the movie-dates for the Atlas), I finally feel confident enough to get my final version of the timeline online... (not that I have much choice, me being 40 and all, so if I want to get it online before I die, I should get going, with at least 30+ years of work ahead of me...)

I have decided to starts with all things dated, and have currently transcribed the WEG NewsNets from the Adventure Journals # 4 and 7 up. New this time is the cross-reference notations (i.e. each events points to the date of its original source, and the original source points to the event-placements)

And yes, the main Calendar is still the Great reSynch one (with BBY-ABY notations present as well)...

Yep, first the GWNN, then relevant comments from Cynabar's Fantastic Technology: Droids and Gundark's Fantastic Technology: Personal Gear, after that probably the HNN-entries from the Insiders NOT featuring the main Clone Wars characters to avoid future timeline conflict, then the HNN-entries from around the time of AotC, then probably the movies since we now have exact starting-dates from Nathan Butler through the Atlas, and then main conflict dates from the Atlas and the NEC...

But first, I'm gonna walk around with a pony for 5 days with my wife and younglings... wink

Events from all but one Galaxywide NewsNets (# 13 of the Adventure Journals is next) are up now... I forgot how much fun these things were (especially the events surrounding the Executor, which have to be made to fit existing chronology, and the return of Thrawn to the Core...)

Okay guys, I could need some help here... For easy reference (and in an effort not to clog up my online pages in the next 30 years or so), I have begun indexing the Republic-part of my website into time-eras. I managed to name the most, except for a period from 5,000BBY to 2,000BBY (Manderon Period ends at 5,000BBY, and the Draggulch Period begins in 2,000BBY)...

I consulted the Wook, but could not find an era-name in the style of the other eras...

Unfortunately from what I can see there aren't any "era" names between 5000-2000 BY; definitely not in the Atlas or NEC.

It's a pity that all republic era's carry these cool-sounding names, except the most-publicized-about era...

Well, anyway, I have just finished uploading the last of the West End Adventure Journal Galaxywide NewsNet entries, so all are now accounted for (including cross-reference dating-systems). I will have to do a spell-check soon (together with sector-additions, and an update of the 'most-important-events' summary-pages which are now offline).

Next up will be the GNN-pages from the truce at Bakura Sourcebook (just 2 pages, so this will be a quickie!!)

Oh yeah, right! Thanks for reminding me of the audio dramas! I will take these on after finishing the Tales of the Jedi stories (have to run through them and 'update' them to the current timeline standards).

And the Casus Belli-story will be added, after I find someone to translate it! One of my wife's friends is a French teacher at a local school, so maybe I can get her to translate the piece...

Hi Eddie,

I've been working on my own timeline (far more basic than yours, essentially just a 'reading order' for the EU), and I thought I'd paste this in for you in case its of any use. It's basically a reading order of the various EU media surrounding Episode I - TPM. I've used the novels chapters as timeline placements, and where events occur twice, or sometimes more, in different books they've been placed after the relevant chapters.

Thanks man, looks like you did your research!!! I will save your list on my computer and see if I can use it once I finish up my KotOR-era uploads. If they are useful, I will give you credit in a special credits-page (just like I have to give Mira Lodo credit, as I have been using his chronological list as well for cross-reference)...

I am currently transcribing the Nomi Sunrider-adventures (which I will place at 3,999 BBY, regardless of some other major sources which put it at 4,000 BBY). On several occasions, the date of 3,999 BBY has come up for Nomi's intro-story, and it flows more nicely in the whole TotJ-comics... Expect an upload on Sunday...
