	Hi everyone ! I'm in the process of drawing a fanart of Mara Jade, and I want to have both the lightsaber and the gun. I have no idea what the gun looks like apart from it is small. I was wondering if anyone knows of any reference or covers where I could see it? since you folks were on so nice when I asked about Anakin and Tahiri I thought to ask you again ^____^ I thought about a mauser type gun like Han's... well it would do if there was no reference but that's Han's gun and I've been looking at pistols too but I imagine a blaster wouldn't much resemble that, being 'star wars-ified) btw, will mara still be using anakin's saber in survivor's quest? thankyou very much -----signature----- "lubed".... my Ben Skywalker and Jacen Solo fanarts >> http://boards.theforce.net/fan_art/b10020/30113591/p1/?32

	She's had a number of weapons over the years, so the choice is really up to you. The ones in TTT were typically hold-out blasters, so they were small, like this one or this one. But at other times (Mysteries of the Sith, NJO, etc) she's used a DL-44, just like Han. I'd say look through all Wookieepedia's images of Mara, and choose whatever gun you like best. Or find the TTT comics and get a better look at the guns she uses there.

It's the right shape but just a little large. The first picture is a fan-made costume but it's based on images from the Thrawn Trilogy comics (which I was trying to find some scans from but can't right now) so it's fairly accurate as well. The blaster depicted in these images is consistently shown being used by Mara, so I suspect it's the one you want to use.
