Wedge 88 has the right Idea I believe in one of the novels there is a side comment about preparation to move the capital to the Empress Teta system. I think Bakura would be a better choice.

Lets find a new planet and name it Jimmy and put the capitol there! Or name it Iseedeadpeople...that would be COOL, now.   I think Coriella...or Bothawui...or Commenor...i mean, they cant really put it on bastion...thats empires territory, and anyway, doent bastion move every so often? To a different system?

I say if you must name a new planet
call it
Terminus
or Trantor(a good name for a city world)
Maybe even Arrakus
Minus tirth maybe
or bettter yet!! Nodnol(after all the sun never sets on the nodnol empire!)
Of presnet planets i say the "correlia system" would make the best capital. It's in the core, on all the major trade roots, and has 6 inhabital areas teh size of planets. This would make a new capital much more self sufficient since a capital physically located on centerpoint could be fed by the 5 planets, besides it has a defense system that can't be beat. It would be a vast upgrade over old corusant.
I might added corucant may fall but it will probably follow a fate more like Rome after it's fall. It will be Burned(dissolved), sacked and reduced to ruins, but will continue on, just not as a capital.

no you can't call it Borkcant,since first names are only very rarly used for nameing places.
It would probably be something like "Fey'lar"
or "fey'la DC"
