I like Jimmyville and Borskietown. I agree with who ever said it should be Bastion though. But Bakura is really the most sensible choice to relocate.

Uh...if the Yuuzahn Vong sack Coruscant they'll probably clear off all tech. Then with Vong abilities return the planet to a nontech form. they'll rename the planet...

Or that will be what the citizens of GFFA will dub their former capitol. As to where
the shattered Republic will relocate its
capitol...maybe 1. Tatoonie (kind of like Jerusalem), 2. Bastion (in alliance with former Imperial Remnant), 3. Geonosis (I know that's a loaded concept), 4. Unknown Regions planet (Chiss capitalize on the role as galactic civilization saviors in NJO aftermath?), 5. Somewhere beyond that GFFA via an Outbound Flight II mission (thus shades of Battlestar Galactica...talk about irony).

Hmmm...
Mon Calamari and Bakura would be good, but they're on the opposite lines of the Vong's third arm, and could be cut off from the major shipyards. Chandrila's too close to Coruscant, otherwise that would be my first choice. No point in moving the capitol a couple of feet from the newly sacked Coruscant. Bastion is already capitol of one government. In Hero's Trial, they mentioned that they'd either move to the Empress Teta system or the Koornacht Cluster. The latter would be the most interesting.

I think for the duration of the war the NR will TEMPORARILY go to either Empress Teta Sys. or the UR.
after the Vong War, i would like to see them set up on Chandrila, as that is where the capital is in my Fanfic Trilogy set 150 years after NJO. i pre-empted the fall of Coruscant, and decided that Chandrila had a nice balance b/w civilisation and nature, and was symbolic of a more peaceful spiritual future. Just build a large city sized senate building, and keep all other administrative centres either on Space stations or other worlds.
