Tis book was enjoyable. I gave it an 8 because although it was good I think it could have been better. Here's a few reasons I thought it wasn't the best in the trilogy. The first reason was that in the final battle scene it kind of made Luke look like he had no major role in the battle. I mean Mara does everything in the fight. I think having Mara kill Luke's clone was perfect but I didn't like the fact she killed C'baoth too. To me it should have been Luke to kill C'baoth. But because he didn't it make his role in that battle looked unimportant. He basically didn't do anything in that battle, which made the whole battle disappointing. Mara should've only killed Luuke and Luke should've been the one to finish off C'baoth. That would've made the story and the battle better. The other thing that didn't give it an extra point was the ending. I don't know, to me the ending of the book didn't seem complete like it just stopped. When you read the ending it's like something is missing like an extra scene to close out the trilogy. The ending was really disappointing to me. So all in all, I definitely give it an 8.

My favorite Star Wars novel ever. I love this one.

The battle between Luke, Mara, and C'baoth was incredible.

Even though I think Thrawns fate was a little bit rushed, overall I think this is the greatest EU of all.

Excellent ending to a very well written trilogy by Thrawn. I loved Mara Jade's character growth throughout the trilogy.

10, the smugglers were fantastic in this book especially. Like the overwhelming majority of you, I thought it was awesome.

9 --I just finished TLC yesterday. I think Zahn continued his story very well in this book. It did have a slow part or two that I didn't like, but they didn't last for long. Overall, a great read.

A perfect book capping off a perfect series. . . . all the way up to the last couple of chapters. Then suddenly everything felt rushed - as if the word cap was rapidly closing in on Zhan and he needed to finish things up quickly. Another 30 pages and I would have been able to rate this a 10. As it stands, it only gets a 9.

agian It had the same problem with the rest it sounded to good to be true and it wasn't true there are alot of books that beat TTT in my opinion. Thrawn is great and the noghri are to but it's just not as good as a thought it would be but it still gets a 8.

10 - I loved this book, and thought it a fitting end to the best EU series to date. Even though there was so much action going on, I never got lost. The storyline of the Smugglers Alliance throughout this whole series have been really interesting to watch, and Talon Karrde was developed beautiful. The infiltration into Mount Tantiss was exciting, and when I first read it, the shock of seeing Luke's clone was unmeasureable. Mara and Luke interacted wonderfully while making their way together through the forest. One down point was that the end of Thrawn was kinda brief, but it didn't hold this book down in the least. Timothy Zahn = EU God

The Thrawn trilogy, is the epitome of fine SW lit. It allows you to see the hardship suffered by all involved after the fall of the emperor. Even though Thrawn was the finest tacticain the galaxy may have seen, TLC shows us that noone is invincible.. As for the ending, it left us wide open for the Hand of Thrawn anthology. All of these books together allows us to see the Grand Admiral as a whole and not a uniform. I give the books a full; 10:)

I loved this book. The culmination of the Thrawn crisis, what it took to have him defeated, the beginning of the next generation of Solos (and the only place where the kids were tolerable. After this, they're obnoxious brats, even at 19 years old), the relationship between Luke and Mara becoming friendship and something a bit more, and especially the Wayland battle!

This book is amazing! Timothy Zahn is my favorite Star Wars writer, and after the other two books that I loved too, I think that this book is one of the best of all EU!
