Muppet Show Star Wars Episode

From 1980, this episode of the Muppet Show starred Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. It starts off with scheduled guest Angus the Argyle Gargoyle getting ready to go on the air. But suddenly Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, and C-3PO crash into the studio, in search of Chewbacca the Wookiee, who was kidnapped, and since nobody liked Angus, they replaced his guest spot with the stars of Star Wars. Luke isn't really interested in hosting the show, so he calls in his 'cousin' Mark Hamill to help out. Mark does the necessary song-and-dance parts, until Luke Skywalker and the droids hijack the Swine Trek. After the Swine Trek makes a smooth landing, Luke and the Droids are captured by Derth Nader, and Chewbacca the Wookiee comes to the rescue.

Thank you for that info, that will become handy for those who didnt saw this show. I didnt saw those dvds here, but i will look for it now.
Edit: Jeff good that you remove that, but to be honest i think thats something that all mods should do more.

I love that Episode, i have it on tape.
Mark Hamill is great as Luke's cousin. 
But Miss Piggy steals the show.

Alabak, I also liked how Mark Hamill was doing impressions of Kermit and Fozzy and they didnt understood him.
And ofcourse the wonderful song and dance number from Chewie, R2 and C3-PO.
BTW Do you know where that pic is from? Cause its not from the show.

It sure is very sweet, but i believe then that its fanmade. Cause what logical would the producers have with making a poster with kermit in Jedirobes, when he doesnt wear those in the show?

Again, this is another one that I really don't ever remember seeing in my youth. I'm not sure how many of those screen caps are a part of my memory or something I actually saw as a child on TV.

I bought the Muppet Show DVD w/ Mark Hamill- and watched it a while back- it is so sweet and funny! The best part is if you check out the special features on the DVD they have "auditions" of other muppets trying for the part of Yoda- including Kermit and Fozzie.
I always remembered that as a kid I loved that episode of The Muppet Show- I always wished that Yoda had shown up though

I remember watching that episode when I was a kid. I tried to convince my mother that Luke Skywalker had a cousin named Mark. She didn't believe me, even when they were both on the screen at the same time at the end of the show.
