JEDY posted: Did you guys see the latest Family Guy episode tonight . At the end when Joe was chasing the family in the sewers, Tie Figters came up and he shot them down. That was a good one too .
Yeah I saw that I thought it was pretty cool and funny.

What are you guys talking about, That was a reference to how cramped humanity is and its desire too break free of the underground hell trapping it.
Laughs at something actually having a meaning. heh he heh!
No, what was great was that they had Joe flying down the "trench." I don't remember what the sounds of the lasers were, but the TIE sounds were definitely great.

talks him in to going home, Stewie freezes him in carbonite.
The guys face and hands are just like Han's when he is frozen.

It seems to me that one of the Family Guy creators is a big Star Wars Fan.
I havnt seen to many episodes... but I honestly think every one i've seen has had a star wars reference.

One thing i noticed about MacFarlene is that althogh he is an avid Star Wars fan (referenced by family guy), he's also an avid star trek fan and has appeared as a guest. I found this out on a fan site.

That's interesting. Can you give us any more info such as the character or episode he appeared in? I'm geussing it would've been Enterprise.
Any Trekkies out there with more details?

search through the clips and there are some with Seth in star trek.
i can't watch them for some reason, broken code or outdated codec.

"American Dad" had a number of SW references this week. At a sci-fi convention there were stormtroopers and a debate titled "SW vs. LotR". Those bastards are too nerdy for their own good

The family guy movie has a great one:
Peter has a news segment called 'you know what realy grinds my gears?' where he rants about what ever. One of his is 'When I can find the droids I'm looking for' and some stormtroopers watching say 'where I know whats up with that?'

forgot to add: The Star Wars Kid was featured in "American Dad". Kinda funny to see some fat kid waving a sick around and fall out of frame.

I saw that too and was WHOA, lucky guy. Even though he's a laughingstock, he's famous.
