You hear that, Mr.Anderson?

That is the sound of plot spackle.

What I really want them to do is make the "Wild Space" novel into an episode. It takes place between Downfall Of A Droid and Duel Of The Droids, so I think Filoni and the crew could pull it off. I am almost done reading it, and it is spectacular! Poor Obi-Wan though. cry

Cargo of Doom and Holocron Heist sound very cool (Maybe some Darth Sid. or force experimentation)

Memories of the Past could have Darth Maul praying but I doubt it

Panic on Alderaan Siege of Alderaan I would love to see more Alderaan

The rest of the titles sound out of place, But Obi-Wan to the Rescue has to be the worst; wow I wonder whats going to happen is this episode.

Oh man, I hope they do something that at least vaguely resembles the real old story where Obi-Wan was very involved in the Alderaan thing(pretty sure he was supposed to have saved the planet). Especially after Wild Space where he and Bail became so close.

INTERVIEW WITH ASHLEY ECKSTEIN

“We’re about halfway through recording season two,” says Eckstein. “It’s something Dave Filoni working really hard on. I think fans are already starting to see a progression in season one, especially if they consider the original movie. If you check her out from there to Ryloth, you’ll see she’s improved a lot.

“I think one thing fans has to remember, is yes, when we first met her she’s very young and chippy. As the show progresses, she’s going to mature. The Clone Wars is going to take its toll. I ask fans just to be patient and watch the process. With Season Two you’re going to see she’s grown a lot. She’s going to be one tough cookie by the time it’s over. By the end of the season, you won’t want Ahsoka coming after you. The fact is she’s becoming more and more like Anakin every day. She takes on his fighting style. She also gets more hot tempered.”

'Chippy'.. is a mild way of describing movie-Ahsoka. How exactly is acting more hot-tempered and Anakin-like suppose to be maturing her?
Maybe she meant she'll become more skilled.. just what Ahsoka needs. What I don't like is we aren't really seeing her being trained or moving up or seeing her being changed by her experiences. She's overly cocky in the movie and suddenly less so in the series. Why? The writers treat her like a character that's been in Star Wars before this series. She's just introduced without any backstory, showcased to be an awesome spunky kid who fights evil and can be annoying without meaning to. All the lone episodes not being in order don't help either. Maybe season two will give us more explanations..
Something I've thought sometimes, Ahsoka actually reminds me of Jubilee from the 90s X-Men animated series.. Anakin is Wolverine (Jubilee seems to tag along with him a lot too). Obi-Wan is Cyclops. Padme is Jean. Dooku is Magneto and Asajj is Mystique (and turns into Rogue when she's around Obi-Wan, who turns into Gambit). And Grievous.. Omega Red? Lots of similar characters.

That must mean Yoda is Professor X, Plo Koon is Beast, Luminara is Storm and Kit Fisto is usually Gambit. Which is pretty awesome when you think about it. Modern times, though, Kit Fisto'd be more like Nightcrawler who fills the spunky adventurer niche. Mace Windu is Apocalypse just 'cuz. XD
Nahdarr Vebb is Sammy the Squid Boy, who bonds with Juggernaut and is killed mercilessly by a tree-man mutant. laugh

Okay, I call your X-men 90's animated series reference, and raise you an 80's X-men Claremont comics reference. Ahsoka is clearly Kitty Pryde, the beloved junior member of the X-men from the early 80's who appeared out of nowhere and became the reader's proxy for the team's adventures. Kitty was the closest thing there was to a female Peter Parker. Kitty not only featured many of Ahsoka's characteristics, but went on to inspire a generation of female characters, such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Oh, joy. That'll be fun to watch. plain

I'm all for Ahsoka maturing--goodness knows she should--but isn't one Anakin enough? wink Ooooh, the hot tempered, young Padawan of that crazy Chosen One is gonna get you!

But I suppose these quotes are supposed to hype interest of the Ahsoka character and squash any flack she might be getting from season one.

I always thought Kitty was a new character.. I mostly just know the cartoons and movies. She's kind of like Jubilee, I guess. And Jubliee seems to have pretty much disappeared. I don't like some of the changes in recent X-Men stuff, like goth-ish teen Rogue.
So Kitty is to blame for a long line of annoying young heroines.. Ahsoka is like Jubilee, who is like Kitty, who is like Buffy the Vampire Slayer.. If Ahsoka survives, a possible title for the live-action show: 'Snips the Clanker Killer'.

The more and more I think about Ashoka, the more I doubt she will die in the cartoon. It just seems to traumatic for the young audience that watches it. Then again, the audience watching it now will mature in 4 years by the end of the series so, it's possible still she'll die on screen.

can't be Dooku or Grievous, and it really can't be something lame like a crash or explosion etc - I guess that leaves Ventress or possibly Bane.

(1) Ahsoka could die doing something heroic; or Anakin-like;

(2) Check out my new icon;

(3) TCW X360/PS3 game?

ARTICLE HERE

RUMOR ALERT: Could a Clone Wars game finally be on the way for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3? Destructoid has sources that say a third person action game titled, The Clone Wars: Republic Hereos, is on the way for those consoles from Krome Studios. (who previously worked on the PS2/Wii/PSP versions of TFU and TCW: Lightsaber Duels on the Wii)

From Destructoid:

"Details on the game (are) scarce, but we're told Republic Heroes will feature a two-player cooperative mode, with both "Jedi" and "Clone" story missions. Players are said to play as Anakin Skywalker or Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano in a Jedi mode, and (at the very least) bounty hunter Cad Bane in the Clone missions. The game will have a focus on melee combat, complete with upgrades that can be purchased throughout the game. The ability to control droids, such as the rolling Droideka, was also mentioned by our tipster."

So far, Krome Studios offered Destructoid no confirmation or denial while LucasArts has yet to respond. We'll keep you posted as we hear more, but consider this to be in the rumor category until we hear something official.
