XCell posted:Something I've thought sometimes, Ahsoka actually reminds me of Jubilee from the 90s X-Men animated series.. Anakin is Wolverine (Jubilee seems to tag along with him a lot too). Obi-Wan is Cyclops. Padme is Jean. Dooku is Magneto and Asajj is Mystique (and turns into Rogue when she's around Obi-Wan, who turns into Gambit). And Grievous.. Omega Red? Lots of similar characters.

LawJedi posted:Okay, I call your X-men 90's animated series reference, and raise you an 80's X-men Claremont comics reference. Ahsoka is clearly Kitty Pryde, the beloved junior member of the X-men from the early 80's who appeared out of nowhere and became the reader's proxy for the team's adventures. Kitty was the closest thing there was to a female Peter Parker. Kitty not only featured many of Ahsoka's characteristics, but went on to inspire a generation of female characters, such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
