I liked Ashoka more than most, but I had my own problem.

Mainly, she feels more like Anakin's partner than his student. When is the last time he has taught her anything? Even big brotherly advice is few and far between.

RUMOR ALERT: Could a Clone Wars game finally be on the way for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3? Destructoid has sources that say a third person action game titled, The Clone Wars: Republic Hereos, is on the way for those consoles from Krome Studios. (who previously worked on the PS2/Wii/PSP versions of TFU and TCW: Lightsaber Duels on the Wii)

From Destructoid:

"Details on the game (are) scarce, but we're told Republic Heroes will feature a two-player cooperative mode, with both "Jedi" and "Clone" story missions. Players are said to play as Anakin Skywalker or Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano in a Jedi mode, and (at the very least) bounty hunter Cad Bane in the Clone missions. The game will have a focus on melee combat, complete with upgrades that can be purchased throughout the game. The ability to control droids, such as the rolling Droideka, was also mentioned by our tipster."

So far, Krome Studios offered Destructoid no confirmation or denial while LucasArts has yet to respond. We'll keep you posted as we hear more, but consider this to be in the rumor category until we hear something official.

I hope this is true! I'm actually one of the probable few who liked Jedi Power Battles and its arcade-style co-op play, and I also dig Force Unleashed. I hope they make a PS2/Wii port, though, because I'm seriously lacking in a PS3. cry

Also hoping for more playables than the ones mentioned if this game comes to be. Which is probably very likely. XD

Oh my god, please be true! I want to get Republic Heroes so bad! I have an Xbox and PS3, so doesn't bother me. I can add to this to my big collection of Star Wars merchandise and games. I have The Force Unleashed for 360 and Wii, LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga for PS3 (Did you know on the Create A Character I created Cad Bane. It's sick), LEGO Star Wars 1&2 for PS2, Star Wars Battlefront 1&2 PS2, Revenge Of The Sith PS2, (yes, I still play all my Star Wars PS2 games), KOTOR 2 for Xbox, want to get #1, Republic Commando Xbox (just beat it, awesome Star Wars game), and Star Wars Empire At War Gold Pak with expansion for PC, Lightsaber Duels for Wii, and LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga for DS and Jedi Alliance for DS.

You can say I have mainly every system, haha.

Oh, and something out of the blue, got the new Star Wars Insider yesterday!

I hope there is another Wii Star Wars Clone Wars game coming out sometime this year. Heck if this one is true I wish it will be made for Wii as well because sadly I only have the Wii at the moment.

By the way, can't wait for Season 02 of Clone Wars this fall. Bring on the Bane!

What is the origin of these Episode 2 episode names/guides? Is it originally from Supershadow, because if so there's absolutely no way I believe them for a second.

The first two are confirmed, but I haven't seen any sources to confirm the others so right now I take them with a grain of salt.

I think it's interesting that they are saying Ahsoka will become someone you wouldn't want to mess with with because I've found her a bit overpowered from the beginning. Even though they give nods to her inexperience (losing her battle group in the blockade run for example), she holds her own in the lightsaber battles against characters like Asajj and Grievous, or at least manages to stay alive and reasonably unhurt which is more than can be said for some other, more experienced Jedi. I would love to see an explanation of how she got to be such a strong fighter at such an early stage of her training. I mean there's always the idea that it's simply a device to throw her into exciting situations and have her come out alive, but an in-universe explanation would be great. Perhaps there has been one already, but if so I guess I missed it completely. It's just a bit odd to me that Grievous, who Obi-Wan struggled to kill, couldn't take Ahsoka out in a heartbeat. But then again, maybe this is just my frustration as a female fan at having another female Star Wars character who is sort of reduced to a stereotype, although she's been getting a bit more likeable recently. I vote for more Aayla in Season 2, competent, intelligent, great back story if you are into the EU, and totally rocks the costume.

Anakin didn't choose Ahsoka to be his padawan though, she was selected by Yoda himself and I doubt he just gave Anakin the next youngling on the list. Assuming he made a considered decision on who to give Anakin as an apprentice he must have had good reason to choose Ahsoka.

So perhaps she actually does have above average powers. It would therefore make sense that Yoda chose her to be Anakin's apprentice. He wants Anakin to gain experience and to gain an insight into how to relate to others. One way of doing that is to have him teach an apprentice who shares some of his traits, including exceptional Force powers. By having to become the responsible one of a partnership along with someone who is reminiscent of himself will teach Anakin to understand how other people see him and in turn enable him to relate to them better.

That's a good point. I tend to forget that just because Yoda can't see the truth about Palpy, it doesn't mean that he isn't the wise and wonderful Yoda we all know and love in other ways (like in Ambush) . =)

On that note though, I would love to see Ahsoka interact with another Padawan at some point in the series. It would be a way for us to see how she measures up in comparison as far as fighting and Force skills go and also to develop her character as an up and coming leader. Also we would get to *see* another Padawan. Makes me wonder what happened to Ahsoka's friends in the Jedi Academy.

I still think that the should sacrifice one episode for pure character development (jedi temple would bee a nice place)

Some people say that obi wan needs a padawan, if that is the case than he/she should bee based one obi wan as ashoka is based after anakin (absolutely no patience)

I do hope that Jabiim appears in the series, but i guess it would not bee child proof, it is a battle the republic lost (we wouldn't have it then)

But i would have enjoyed the lurmens slaughtered, would make more sense, you would not go close ranged with the jedi when you can a take them from fare, and why didn't the general/weapon developer use the canon too cover his tropes.

Other then that i enjoy the show.

On a neat little note, they've recently annoucned the voice cast for the video game adaptation for Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen, and mentions James Arnold Taylor will be voicing The Fallen for the game (with most of the movie cast reprising their roles, shy Hugo Weaving, as they'll be using the REAL voice of Megatron, Frank Welker).

Yes. she's wearing that in the season 2 preview...I think it's for that episode though and that she'll go back to what she was wearing. But yes, costume changes for some of the characters would be good.
