They should have called it "Legacy of Weapons Factory" rolling_eyes

You'd think "Legacy of Terror" would be the conclusion but who knows?

As a lifelong Luke Skywalker fan, I'd get your back on your Ahsoka/Barriss point, if you'd agree that the same should apply to Han and Luke. But as you well know, even after ROTJ, most fans prefer the authority questioning Han to nice guy Luke.

Well I'd say that's what happened with Luke and Han, they started as rivals and ended up as friends. I don't know if they learned from eachother though. I also like Luke over Han, not that I dislike Han.. but yeah, a lot of people like the rascal hero over the humble nice guy.

And I just thought something about Bariss and Ahsoka.. from the preview it seemed like Ahsoka is holding a grudge, "Dependable Bariss can do it". Anakin was seen telling Ahsoka she's not ready to handle something, and Luminara says Bariss can. Could Ahsoka be jealous of her? thinking .. I actually like the idea.

The source is Cartoon Network's online schedule. But it apparently won't be the last episode of the Geonosis arc, since it will air following the next episode, Weapons Factory (god I hate this title). So the last episode of this quadrology should be the rumoured Attack on Point Rain. So:

Senate Spy (intro)
Landing at Point Rain
Weapons Factory
Legacy of Terror
Attack on Point Rain

I'm still not understanding these titles, or perhaps the writers never put too much thought into them. "Legacy of Terror"? And then we finally have "Attack on Point Rain". After seeing the "Landing" episode, I still don't have a clue on what "Point Rain" is. Oh well.

Interesting....if this does turn out to be the case, I figure the episodes go something like this:
First, they land as we saw in the first episode. Next episode they deal with the factory. The episode after that they have deal with a Sep superweapon that the factory completed. Then the CIS counter attacks, and our heroes have to defend the area they first landed at.

Even after all the extremely good reviews on this board, I was still stunned after having finally been able to watch this episode. Wow. OMG. Incredible.

Unlike many of you, I do like Ki's appearance on this series. Very CW-ish in my opinion. The luck thing was a bit stupid indeed, the only very small minor in this episode, which I find the best of all 27 episodes so far in the series.

I also really liked that in the end, Anakin takes over and tells to freakin Jedi Council Masters that he expects them to be back in combat when the main factory has been destroyed. I find this really depicts Anakin's rank within the Order, even though he's only a Knight. I also like that we have a valid reason for Luminara to take over from Ki and Obi-Wan in the next episode, not having just stay behind without a reason.

So, next episode, according to IGN truly great as well. Looks like we'll see Anakin and Luminara team up, as well as Ahsoka and the much discussed but still a padawan Barriss Offee.

BTW: There is a new episode title confirmed: "Day One". Check out the Wook.

No, no. "Day One" isn't confirmed as an episode. Someone created an article thinking it is an episode; however, only the junior book "Day One" is confirmed.

As much as I, too, like the idea - will this be another case of the "stodgy, dependable" one getting shown up by the brash, instinctive one? I sincerely hope EACH learns from each other, but I suspect it will be Ahsoka who "saves the day."

Especially since Anakin told Ahsoka she's not ready. Set up, anyone?

Dependable Barriss, set up, anyone?

Bariss looks like she'll be a polite prude who thinks she can handle things better, maybe because she's older than Ahsoka, but at some point she'll mess up and look foolish. Maybe the jealousy (if that's the case) is not just about Bariss being praised as more dependable than Ahsoka, perhaps it's also envy of Luminara and Bariss's relationship, how Luminara has this confidence in Bariss that Anakin doesn't seem to have for her.

I hope these two become rivals, it just sounds like an amusing idea to give Ahsoka someone to compete with, but she can't seriously fight or try to kill because it's a fellow Jedi. They seem to contrast a lot, simply looking at how differently they dress can tell you something.

You know what? I think it would be a cool idea to have Barriss as a recurring character and as a foil to Ahsoka.

Really, they both should be able to learn from each other, and I think, given that this is primarily a children's show, it would be a good message to the audience.

But there really is some danger here if Ahsoka is somehow presented as superior. I don't care if she thinks she's superior, but what's the overall message the writers are going for?

I expect the fortune cookiee will give us some clues.

I don't think it was an ordering thing. It's combat humour - he's joking he doesn't want them taking it nice and easy back up on the cruiser while he's down in the dust but also letting them know that he's wishing them a speedy recovery.

What's a bit weird in the series, is the way they name the Jedi.

They're talking about Master Skywalker (last name), Master Plo (first name), Master Mundi (last name), Master Luminara (first name).

Shouldn't it be Master Unduli? Master Koon?

I guess there's no general rule... Sometimes they use first names, and sometimes last names.

Nice catch! "Attach on Point Rain" never seemed very creative, IMO. "Brain Invaders" correlates with that rumor about zombies appearing in the series -- which might include Cassie Cryar.

In some species the first name might be the family name, e.g. Plo Koon's brother might be Plo Fann - or it might just be the master's personal choice. What about Yoda? He just has one name like a rock star happy

Brain Invaders. Wow. That's embracing the B-Movie titles with a passion...

And that's a good explanation on why some masters are called by the 1st name and other not. Although the out-of-universe reason why Plo Koon isn't called by his last name is pretty clear.
