It's not as though these people are making this to rigidly conform to some realistic timeline. I mean, as it is right now, there's only a microscopic window in the second CW where this series could take place, so Ahsoka's existence really doesn't make much logical sense. So they're not beholden to logic, which means that the show could exist in perpetuity - they're cartoons, so Anakin can be forever young.
Well, I hope they don't do that. Regardless, the series will have to end eventually - and thus, Ahsoka's got to be dealt with some way. And I really doubt she'll survive.
If she's popular and making them money, there's no way they'll kill her off. In fact, I'd be willing to bet money that there are plans to have her as one of the Jedi who survived Order 66 and be a character on the live action show.
I don't mean to sound like a cynic, but let's be clear about what these types of SW projects are. They're not art, and they're not a serious exploration of the core ideas of Star Wars....they're money grabs. They're cool and I enjoy 'em but they're just money grabs. Therefore, if Ahsoka can help them achieve that goal, they'll use her accordingly.

So in that case, everything other than the films are money grabs? Well in that case, I gladly give them my money. I'm glad George is "greedy" because that ensures us plenty of Star Wars for some time to come.

Pretty much any movie and especially movie sequel, is a money grab to one degree or another. And I wouldn't just lump it with everything else as "these types". This is the first full-length, legit SW TV series, with Lucas actively involved. This isn't a saga movie, but it isn't your run of the mill EU either.

If somebody feels that this new animated feature is for greed alone, then he should not go see it. It will be on TV in the next month or two.
If you're mad, then stand up for what you believe in and wait.
It's that easy.
Personally, I love going to the cinema and it will be great to see this with a primarily Star Wars fan audience on opening day.

Here's the thing...of course I'm looking forward to this show. Don't like the idea of the new apprentice, but I will get past it.
But what I am NOT ready for, is the giant wave of general public and media hatred a cinema release is going to bring. It's inevitable, and it's depressing to contemplate. And don't give me "ignore it" because you can't.

I suppose that's possible. Only thing is that I would imagine that his own former apprentice would be a highly desirable target for Darth Vader.
Then again, he didn't seem to look too hard for Obi-Wan or Yoda either...

I really doubt people will "hate" them (George/ LucasFilm) for a theatrical release. There's plenty of crap that makes it to theaters that should have never been made and this series is almost certainly going to be good. Of course, George is blamed for everything George W Bush isn't, so it would come as no surprise.

I've already heard comments such as the following:
"Based on that video, I wish Lucas had done the whole PT animated!"
