I wonder if they'll still be hiding the fact that Palpatine is Sidious in the series?

I'm sure they won't. Infact, I would imagine the switching between the Palpatine and Sidious persona's, as well as the whole Dooku/Tyrannus stuff and the Sifo-Dyas "mystery" will make up a huge part of this series.

I felt a great disturbance in the force. As if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror. Then were suddenly silenced.

Personally I like the idea of more Clone Wars stories. I like the idea of seeing more General Grievous, Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress, Clone commanders, Obi-Wan, and even Anakin. I've noticed a lot of gripes about the series covering this time period. Mainly wondering what's the point since we already know Anakin becomes Vader. (That, or complaining that the cartoon looks too much like a cartoon...o_O) I don't know, to me that's like asking what's the point of seeing more Vader since we know he becomes Anakin again? Anyway, I felt the PT introduced a lot of great characters and ideas, and we didn't get to see too much of them. So bring on more stories, I say. Sheesh, a lot people make you feel bad for being a fan these days. Though in retrospect it was like that even before the PT.

If this is popular maybe it may inspire Lucas to expand other parts of Star Wars. Wouldn't a series that took place between ANH and ESB be interesting? That's three years of events to cover right there.

Not a bad idea at all, personally I would love to see a time frame after Return of the Jedi. The Novels are great and do a splendid job of delving into the world post ROTJ but the fan boy in me would love to see Luke in action as a fully trained Jedi Knight or as the Jedi Master.

I don't think that will happen since Lucas has said at least one time in the past that if the two upcoming tv series are successful that the most likely era to get a tv series would be the KOTOR era.

You've got me there. IMDb only has four voice actors listed so far. But what caught my attention when visiting the site was ...

who's "Turk"?

I wouldn't trust IMDB for anything. Their info for in-progress projects is about as reliable as a crap car in a snowstorm. And the car has two flat tires. And no engines. And the driver is dead.

That said, Toyfair is starting (today? Tomorrow?) - and we might get some new info from it. or at least a look at some toys. happy

Rumor on TFN home page is that the voice is of Ashley Eckstein. See here

For those of you interested in the toy side of things, here's some action figures:

Nothing particularly exciting, tho.

Glad to see most of those stupid looking action features are removable. With that rocket launcher thing removed, Anakin looks like he will be a cool figure.

I'm really hoping to see Ahsoka, though.

I like the "beefed up" appearance of General Grievous. I'm nitpicking here but, the fact that Grievous's ultrasonic vocabulator (his mouth) only has 3 speakers in the TV Show but has 4 speakers in EP3...bothers me.

I think the choice of three vocabulators was made for aesthetic reasons. It's a bit less dense which works for the style.

I agree that the larger size works well. The prototype figure for the series is the best he's ever had, IMO.
