From my understanding Grievous won't be in the movie.
He's in one of the trailers, how can he not be in the movie unless his scene(s) were cut.

The score will be composed by Kevin Kiner and there will be a soundtrack to be released on Aug 12.
According to Steve Sansweet, Grievous will not be in the film so either this was cut, Steve was mistaken, or Grievous doesn't talk in the film. Hmmm...

So why did they show him laughing and shooting with a superweapon destroying several Venators...Or this would be used later in the series...? I also remember seeing him together with Nute and Dooku on-board a ship (I think it was the Invisible Hand)...

If Grievous is in the movie, which I don't believe him to be, he can't meet Anakin. That doesn't occur until RotS. As far as the gross kid stuff, it's funny how that really wasn't around until TPM unless I'm missing something. Lucas more than made up for it in TPM alone.

Last year at C4, Dave Filoni apparently hinted that we might see a brief flashback for Grevious. Perhaps at this point in the story he hasn't become a cyborg yet. I don't know what the EU has to say about that, but if it's a close one in the timeline, they might decide to have him built in one of the first episodes in the TV series. They want to leave some goodies for the TV series too.
And great news about the soundtrack coming out on the 12th. I'm really looking forward to that.

As far as I know Grievous was built before AOTC... He was kept in secret from the Order and the Republic, he managed to escape Geonosis killing several Jedi and Clones...

Hey guys, I am curious, if you happen to not like The Clone Wars movie when it comes out, will you still watch the series? I mean, it's not like the series will be written and directed by the same person for each episode. Paul Dini, for example, has written several episodes which I am sure will be great.

Well, I don't see myself not liking the show because I pretty much like anything SW. But, if I do not, I will still try and watch the show a few times. I do agree, we cannot judge the entire show by the movie. That'd be like judging the movie saga by TPM.

I'm pretty sure Grievous will be in the movie. He was shown in the trailer and he's in the CW lightsaber duel video game. I don't think Lucas would do a theatrical release without Grievous because he is the money making bad*** super villian [well, he was planned to be, anyway.]
JMS- Like Nemisis, I can't see myself not liking the money. Anything SW, I love. It could be cringing maybe, and an eye roller, but I'd still respect it and stay faithful to the TV Show.
To those of you who have not read the spoilers I'll just give you a hint. It's going to be fast paced and action packed. Thats all you can really tell from the spoilers, seeing as they don't have the actual script. So it could be, like many are concerned, very action packed but with poor poor dialogue.

The movie seems really contrived, based off the spoilers. I had been cautiously optimistic before reading them; now I doubt I'll even rush to see it. The apparent exclusion of General Grievous, the childish comic gimmick of Rota, Ahsoka being Anakin's apprentice, the fact that Anakin goes back to Tatooine, and more are just conspiring to make me despise this film. I hope my opinion changes.
