Jar Jar as regular character= death in the Ratings.
He won't be in the show.
Hey, just look at the "Incredible Shrinking Part for Jar Jar" in 2 and 3, and don't tell me that the general reaction to Jar Jar did not have a major role in that. Lucas is not stupid.

If being a fan means I have to approve and like everything in the movies, then I am proud to be called a non fan.
Talk about intolorent of differing opinions.
Jar Jar was a dumb, failed, attempt at comic relief. And lots of people who have been fans since 1977..like me...think that.

I just think the anti-sentiments went way over the line and were hugely out of proportion to what Jar Jar did or didnt do. And too many people who didnt like him just did notleave it at that, but made it their mission and dubious purpose in life to personally prove to the entire disinterested world that they were smarter than George Lucas.
Had they just left dislike of jar jar at that, the whole basher phenomenon may never have arose. Now I am forced to hope Jar Jar is in the series just to annoy anyone who took their hate of him too far. I know not everyone took it too far, but people like that tended not to make unwarrented nuisances or embarrassments of themselves.

I know plenty of " hard core fans" who like him and just as many who don't it's all about opinions. I for one don't hate him, but I'm not his biggest fan.
NO Jar Jar will not be on the TV show because the general public did not like him in Episode 1 so he won't be the TV show.

I have no problem with Jar Jar. I mean, he was there for a reason. I think you need a little comic relief before getting into the second and third film, where things begin to get much darker. Jar Jar was there, IMO, to ease first time viewers into the seriousness of Star Wars.
