Please explain MalkieD2...How is a cultural icon a cheap 'pop'? It would send ratings through the roof.

You've answered the question yourself - it would only be done to get ratings, hence is a cheap 'pop'.

I have a question that the TV Series will never be able to answer:
How can Princess Leia have any memories of her mother (Padme) if her mother died on the delivery table?

She doesn't - it's just yet another inconsistency generated by the PT.
The most reasonable explanation is that the "mother" leia refers to in ROTJ is Bail's wife, not Padme.

Any other suggestion is nonsense really.

Nowhere in the Novel does it say Luke was crying at birth while Leia was quiet

I just went and checked

i do have the children's novel and your quote from that is correct.

REVENGE OF THE SITH BY MATTHEW STOVER...PAGE 443

The other droid now rounded the tent as well, with another clean QUIETLY SOLEMN INFANT.....and a girl."

Now if they make a point to say that one baby was quietly solemn it can reasonably be concluded that the other child was not.

I think people are too caught up with little canon dribble that can be fixed. Some things just shouldn't be worried about. On the point of Padme, I've excepted that Leia touched Padme through the Force, and the books do well to cover how she could remember her mother. Of course I love the PT, thought it was brilliant besides a few mistakes.

The show will no doubt be exciting. Enjoy it for being Star Wars. GL doesn't go in thinking every man, woman or child will know the EU, this is for audiences of ANY kind. And a show being produced NEEDS to be treated as such.

There will be things to please the hard-core fans, but it's still just a show. It's not real.

McCallums just talking it up to be something less then it sounds.

No matter what, not every question could be answered. What if my question was 'What does General Grievous eat with his bagel on tuesday mornings?'

Well, we'll wait and see for the answer.
