No one ever said that was the same R4. Remember, there are many R4 robots.

Sure, but there were no also no other R4 droids who were said to have had an R2 head put on them by Anakin Skywalker, as t I heard about during the AOTC EU Blitz.
Thus, I think much of the post-ROTJ EU (the best of it, the "Thrawn Trilogy", and all) NEEDS to be obliterated by the next episodes: VII-IV.
But, sadly, I can only dream.

I love Splinter Cell.
except for the fact that I went through the entire SC:CT game without a single hang from the ceiling neck choke.

What?!? There are SO MANY places to do that move!
BTW, I congratulate you... I was weak... I did all of the new moves (including the forward choke/drop to death) ... with chuckling pleasure.
But, now, I'm making the effort of going through Chaos Theory using the Ultimate Stealth/No kill mindset.
I'm doing good so far, but the game's point system itself won't let me go zero Kill/sKO's on the Penthouse level, as far as I know (how do you get the required info w/o choking the buy on the balcony?).
P.S. I've read that there were people who were so worried about ruining their "stealth quotient" in SC:PT, that, after saving the poor Frog at the Cryo-lab, they even tried to save the poor drunk Sadonoite who blew himself to hell with the trip wire, *and* they tried to kill AS FEW OF THE SYRIAN TERRORISTS as possible!!!
While, I agree with most of the "NO KILL"/stealth-intensive philosophy, and I save ALL of the normal civilians, I will, just because of the "one less enemy..." philosophy, let any of the Terrorist scum die by their own stupidity.
Plus, killing the entire enclave of those bastard Syrian Terrorists (and, may I say, sniping Dahlia) is Just. Pure. Damn. Fun.
Anyway. You're probably a better SC player than I am.
I might need to ask you for some pointers.
Like, how do you get down from the "secret area" in the Georgian Defense Ministry w/o killing yourself?

"Chachi" in a SW TV series?
I LOVE "Happy Days", BUT:
Trust your feelings, this is only a rumour!<to be British about it>
You MUST join me on the HCSF side!!!
P.S. Does Scott Baio have a "butt-chin*, like every actor who played Luke, Han, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and/or Palpatine?
That may or may not be a factor.

If Scott Baio is chosen as an actor for a SW series, I may have to kill Lucas. But, then again, Bea Arthur and Art Carney were in Star Wars as well.

LOL
I guess you're right.
My real question was, "Does Scott Baio have a butt-chin?"
This is just a new theory of mine, but I think GL's entire career has been based on midgets; little people, if you will, amazing, groundbreaking special effects, and butt-chins.
Humor me; does Robert Duvall have a butt-chin?
How about Jeff Bridges? Val Kilmer?
I seem to recall that most of them do, as do Lucas, Ford, Hamill, McDiarmid & Davis etc... but then, I've been drinking. lol

OK. I'm back: and I won't bring up "butt-chins" again... I know it scares you...
What kind of unbelievably stupid "rumors", like the Scott Baio thing (unless it turns out to be true - "NooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!") have you heard so far into this SW TV thing?

I believe that the 3D clone wars series is scheduled for a 2007 release and the Live-Action show is set for 2009.

Oh... I *will* be spoiler-free, even if I have to turn this thread into my own... personal... spoiler-free... blog. <Sith lightning/Sidious cackle>
Of course, the Mods would put a stop to any/all of that in no time flat.
There *will* be others who will feel the way I do... I promise you.
It is unavoidable...

It's been a while since the comment was made, and I really HATE to *bump* my own thread, but, it's relevant, and I've been thinking it for a while:
"The other project is live action, and the live action is going to take place between Episode 3 and Episode 4. We're looking at a 1 hour show and [Producer] Rick McCallum has said the ideal would be to come up with 100 hours to really get into the story line and characters, and that's the direction we're going in. So that is really targeted more towards the end of the decade."
WHOAH!
Now, I have YEARS to be Spoiler Free for Star Wars TV!?!?!?
AMAZING!!!
Thanks, Rick.

I guess it will be hard to remain spoiler-free for the whole SW-TV series, and it's not as important to me as staying spoiler-free for the prequels was. Personally I think the whole idea of a live-action SW series is a disaster (SW series should all be animated).
Still, I'll try to stay as spoiler-free as I can possibly be.
