The spoiler seasons are some of the best times on this site.
I think it might be too hopeful to be entirely spoiler free for SSSW, especially the tv series, since there is only one forum. For 3SA there were two fora: one for spoilers and one for the non-spoiler lovers. The line of what constitutes a spoiler and what is not, in a forum ostensibly dedicated to both, will be a tough line to define for Geefy and 2d. I don't envy them.

There was talk before I stepped down of splitting like we did for spoiler-free and spoil me thru the TV series. I don't know where it stands now. The alternative is highlight to read.

Now I'm back from my holdiay, 2nd and I will be finalizing the spoiler policy for SSSW. Expect it to be posted very soon.
As far as seperate forums goes, as Sape says, this has been discussed in MS, but only in random terms. We haven't put any detail to it yet. The idea, I think, is that we're going to develop a new category purely for television, and we'll develop seperate forums for the LAS and the Clone Wars. Whether we then devide into spitler and non spoiler forums, I'm not sure. Its all a long way off, because at this point we're just not generating enough traffic to justify seperate forums. But be assued this will be kept under constant review and for me personally, I certainly wouldn't rule anything in or out at the moment.

If it went in the direction to split the two up, that would mean four new forums wouldn't it? One for the LAS, one for the Clone Wars, and then two non-spoiler forums for both individual shows?
That may be a bit much. IMO, I think two new 'highlight to read' forums for both shows would be the way to go. I do agree with the traffic aspect of things though, too slow to do anything anytime soon.

Yeah, thats the concern we have. We don't want to spread the forums too thin. Personally, I think we'll be looking at just the two forums, one for The Clone Wars and other SSSW projects and then the LAS forum as well. And both will be HTR. But we'll see how we go. All of this is into the future, so its best not to rule anything in or out right now.
We now have our spoiler policy posted, which you can read HERE Hopefully it covers everything and we'll update/amend it as and when we need to.

I am going to have such a hard time staying completely spoiler free... The Clone Wars looks so freaking awesome.

FETT, I'm lazy, what's the current policy on spoiler material in SSSW?
I was the 3NS mod, so I don't have any trouble switching between spoiler and spoiler-free threads, but we should probably make the policy crystal-clear so people aren't taken unawares.

Its in the sticky thread "up top" mate. 
I'll repost it here;
Whilst shows are in production:
-All LFL released information/images are not spoiler material.
-Anything else is a spoiler and must be flagged up in titles as such. Failure to do this will result in a ban.
-HTR is suggested. This will be judged on a case by case basis, but HTR is recomended for most spoilers. Severe or multiple spoilers posted without HTR may be punished with a ban.
-Non Spoiler threads will be provided for those that don't want to be spoiled.
When shows air;
-There will be designated spoiler threads for new episodes for all spoiler discussion regarding that/those episode(s), unless secondary threads are marked as such in their thread titles (with the thread titles themselves not being spoilers as well).
-A designated timespan after first US airing (or, merely that "episode span") until discussion can occur outside the "main threads" (this will be decided much nearer the time.
-A specific thread to cover spoiler hounds wanting to discuss upcoming episode info.
-Non Spoiler threads will be provided

I for one would like a "Spoilers Allowed" forum for the sake of ease, though I agree that spreading the forums thin would definitely be a negative.

Im going totally spoiler free besides the trailer that already came out....for EP3 right before the movie started I remember thinking to myself....man this would be so much cooler if I had no idea WTH was going on....it will be hard just because I love the way the new series looks and I'll want to see pics of it, but this is best way to see a movie.

Is there a board to discuss the planned Live Action Star Wars TV series?
An interesting thing about what I've heard about it (from ForceCast) is that Lucas himself says it will be a mix of The Sopranos and Deadwood (presumably with less cursing, or with "stang" and "kriff" instead).
If I was going to help create a Star Wars live action series to take place between Episodes III and IV, I would mix Rome and Carnivale. Rome would provide the political intrigue, while Carnivale would have wanderers worried about the inevitable war against the Empire. We might get to see what it's like the Imperial Senate, and why Palpatine kept it around for 18 years. Mixing Carnivale and Star Wars might be a little too much like Firefly, but that wouldn't be a totally bad thing.
