Someone please explain that since we see blue, green, and purple crystals in the jedi temple
caverns on llUM (Clone Wars Volume I). Why out of thousands of jedi knights is it that
Mace Windu is the only jedi to have a purple saber? I know Sam Jackson wanted purple and thats why George gave it to him, but shouldn't this be explained in the movies/cartoons???

R4 wasn't destroyed in the Clone Wars...not at all. She got in a tough scrape with a trash compactor on Gyndine and Anakin rebuilt her. Then she was destroyed in RoTS.
With Windu's sabre, we really do not know that he is the only one. As you yourself said, there are thousands of Jedi.
And please don't use all caps when you post. Almost everyone finds reading text in all caps annoying, hence the reputation as online screaming. If you're not trying to yell in your online communications but you're typing in all caps, most people will think you are.
