Adi Gallia was killed by Grievous before ROTS. That was Stass Allie on the speeder bike, and yes she is well and truly dead.
Asajj Ventress ain't dead, she takes a medical ship (with Alpha on board) into the unknown regions...I think.

i think we should stop viewing order 66 as such a finite thing - i see it as an ongoing order to hunt the jedi until they are all dead, which the majority of them were. the show should have jedi but make a big dramatic deal of it - not just have loads of rogues running around

Personally, I hope they follow they take a hint from Into the Unknonw (or whatever Republic issue it was) and make the opening scenes of the first episode an Order-66 montage, with the last one showing a Jedi getting away - who of course would be one of the protagonists. At least, that's how I'd start the show (although it'd contradict the opening-space-show rule).
Nothing wrong in having the opening space scene followed by the order 66 montage. IMO, that would be just fine.

Order 66 was the clone's execution of the Jedi army commanders/temple residents at the every end of the Clone Wars. The hutning of surviving Jedi after that was called the Great Jedi Purge.

OK, guys,, I have to ask. Why on earth would you want an opening space shot on the TV show? I belive it should be completely different than the films in evry way, including the credits. I think this show should open like typical shows do, with credits at the beginning.
Maybe they could start the first episode with: "And now for something completely different."

If there arent any Jedi I have a feeling ratings will be low. People want to see lightsabers and force type activities. If its just about politics and bounty hunters/smugglers I don't think anyone will watch it.

I think people overestimate the effect of jedi on star wars. They didn't even play that big a role in episode 4. That had one short and dull lightsaber fight. It was muostly blaster shoot outs.
Also, the jedi centric prequels did well, but aren't quite as well respected as the orginals. I think a prue bounty show would do just fine. Maybe not steller, but fine.

I hope it has a completely different feel, look, and tone than any of the other Star Wars live-action productions. I hope it is very dark, as Rick McCallum said.
And OMG, it would be teh coolest if the last episode involved Vader right before he storms the Tantive IV!

It may well do good on its own. Still, Jedi are, have been, and always will be a part of Star Wars. Episode 4 aside, TESB and ROTJ focused a decent amount of time on Jedi, and the prequels had two of the main characters in each movie being a Jedi. If this show is going to have 50 to 100 episodes, the odds of having at least one Jedi in at least one episode are pretty good, even if he/she/it is only in it for 5 say minutes, and gets cut down by a dark sider, or blasted to pieces by a bounty hunter or clones or something.

I agree it should end with Vader about to board the Tantive IV. I'd like to see some Jedi survivors. It would be cool if they were the stars of the show but I would be okay if they were occasional guest stars. There is a ton of possibilties for the TV Show.

Yes and no. Depends on just how many Jedi there are in the TV show. By the time of RotS there were allready less then 2000, less survived the final battles of the war, and hundreds were slain in the Temple alone.
If we get occasional Jedi in the movie it would be great- I'd love to see Darth Vader in his prime, as well as some Jedi vs Bounty-Hunter fights (since Boba's in it's pretty obvious).
But if we get to see a Jedi Master hunted down and killed every two episodes... ugh.
It would first contradict to the fact that the Purge was a major succes, let alon the fact that it would become boring. Besides, the comics and novels allready have too many surviviors, even Jedi who were, well, killed in RotS comic book.
So it really depends on just how many Jedi will be in the show.

Yes I agree that they should have Jedi occasionally or have one or a couple of Jedi who are the stars of the show.

The Purge was not just what happened in ROTS. Besides, most of the Jedi that they do show surviving usually end up dieing anyways.

Actually by the time of ROTS, it was less than 8000. There were 10,000 at the start of the war, and in the middle of LOE, Yoda remarks that throughout the war so far "over a thousand Masters have lost their Padawans, and over a thousand Padawans have lost their Masters."
Besides, there were only 1024 senators, and look how many places they've popped up in.
