I'd like to see Vader play the role of the central villain, like he did in ANH and ESB, and leading the campaign to mop-up the remaining Jedi, who are the protaganists. That is of course only if James Earl Jones signs on to do the voice for the man-in-black.
I would also hope the series would end with all of its Jedi protaganists dead, setting up the situation in the OT where only Obi Wan & Yoda remain.
Well Vader will most likely not star in the TV Series since it is supposed to star minor characters from the films, EU characters, and probably completely new characters. I agree with you that any Jedi protagonist should die by the series end.

Perhaps, the live action series is supposed to surround characters other than the main ones, like Luke or Leia. I also heard stories that it will be about Boba Fett.

We could see K'Kruhk and his new Padawan since he survived Order 66, we could also see A'Sharad Hett, and Sian Jeisel.

Ewan Mcgregor said he was willing to play Obi-Wan every once and a while.That's good.Ian Mcdiarmid also said he was willing to come back and play Emperor Palpatine whenever they needed him.

It would be great to see Obi-wan back in the t.v. series and truly learn the fate of what happened to Anakin after he left him to burn on the searing sands of Mustafar.
I had this idea that Vader would issue almost an order to Obi-wan to never return ("You should not have come back !") after Luke's life is threatened in someway. Obi-wan told Yoda that he "would watch over the child" so if Luke's life is put in danger Obi-wan would step in to save it. It would add reasonounce to the whole "You should not have come back" line and possibly scenes involving Obi-wan/Ben and Owen Lars.
After they had learned Anakin's fate Obi-wan/Ben trys to convince Owen that Luke is now of the age he should begin his training. But Owen says no he's not going on some "damn idealistic crusade" to try and help the remaining members of the Jedi order that survived order 66 out of their latest predicament. i.e. Vader hunting down and destroying the remaining
Jedi knights. Obi-wan to the rescue ! Well, sort of. "Now the Jedi are all but extict." He must've saved a few !
I'd like to see that !

Chances are though surely that this will be addressed ?
What are the dates of the filming of the first season of the t.v. show ? do we know. Are they filming 1 season see how it does then a second season. 100 hours isn't it ?

It was said that they were supposed to start pre-production for the show in Janurary 2006 (this month) but I think this plan has changed but who knows for sure? They began to start interviewing writers in the Fall. The TV Series might come out in late 2007 but it will probably come out in 2008. They want to get 100 episodes out of the TV Series but if it does not get the ratings it will probably not last that long. The TV Series is supposed to focus on minor characters from the films, EU characters, and probably completely new characters so Obi-Wan will most likely appear occasionally or rarely.

Well, Lucas said he was going to film the show like he did The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, and shoot them all at one, and THEN give them to the studios. So, I presume that, even if the show gets cancelled for some odd reason, he will still be able to release the remaining episodes on DVD / Blu-ray or whatever.

I forgot he said that but thanks you refreshed my memory. I think it's good they are going to shoot all the episodes at once. As long as the TV Series is just okay or decent it will probably get more than enough ratings to stay on the air since it is Star Wars but if it's horrible and gets below average ratings it will be canceled like any other show that stinks.

Episode III got a good fan and critic reception so hopefully it continues on for both of the TV Series (I think it will).
