Have we had any news on what the neighborhood show's budget will reside in? This will have a lot to say about what we can expect as far as SFX type and content.
For reference Battlestar is around $1.5 Mil per episode.

Thus it is that in war the victorious strategist only seeks battle after the victory has been won, whereas he who is destined to defeat first fights and afterwards looks for victory.

I doubt anything's been settled this early in the game, but I remember hearing somewhere that Lucas is funding the show out of his own pocket, which may or may not be true - seems like a risky move.
Either way, with it being an LFL project, is there any doubt that SFX will be the main priroity?

lucas said something about trying to do what "normally cost about thirty million for a million bucks per episode" He also said he intended to film on a commercial High Def camera like the sony ones you can buy in stores.

watching prison break the other night they said the elec chair makes you incontinent. So does that mean that mace windu pooped himself right before he went out the window? Or did Luke make a stain on the death star? maybe DV died of embarasment?

Well since all the FX, sound, ect will all be done in house, Lucas' million goes a lot farther than another project's million, so I wouldn't be surprised if it is done with that small a budget per episode.

Can't agree more...also if BSG cost them 1.5, Lucas and ILM could do the exact same stuff for $750,000, they invented the best SFX hardware and software there is!
