 Hell no! They made the OT ridiculous if they would have done that. I never believed the Jedi to be from superhuman nature and guard the Republic like some kind of Justice League and all of them being Supermen. After all, the Jedi should stay human and therefore vulnerable, with some additional skills and powers. How else could have been Sidious be able to extinguish them from the countenance of the Galaxy far far away?

I'm pretty certain that's what the new animated series will look like though, so we'll be set there  Did you see the teaser trailer for Republic Commando? A series like that will pwn!

I heard somewhere in there it shows how Anakin got that scar (Ventress wasn't it?).

No and Yes, mate 
You don't see Anakin actually get that scar. Ventress Did give him the scar. And you do see him fight Ventress, but he got the scar in another battle covered in the comics (Republic #66 I believe, although I haven't got/read it so I'm open to correction).
For what it's worth, the fight that's shown is pretty fantastic anyways. If only for Anakin using a red saber  But the atmosphere in those episodes is beautiful.

For a cartoon its not bad, children would like it a lot as its much more action orientated than most cartoons.
But for an adult it gets boring very fast and the jedi are stupidly over powerful, flying about like superman and throwing ships around like toys.
I just cant help but to think what this would have been like if they had done a full budget industrial light and magic production of this to the standards of the battle for Geonosis.

malkie edit we have strict rules on piracy here -we don't allow posting techniques on how to get copyrighted LFL material for free - anymore and you'll be banned. Remember, if you get your LFL material for free, and LFL stop making any money they'll stop making any new material.

This is a private internet message board, there is no such thing as freedom of speech here. Furthermore you are advocating criminal activities, which is totally against the rules here. Our rules over copyright are most important when dealing with LFL material, and we'll continue to protect LFL material wherever necessary.
We're in regular contact with LFL, and they remind us to remove copyrighted video material when we see it. The kick back for this is that we can use LFL copyrighted images without consent throughout this message board.
If you are unhappy with our simple rules on copyrighted LFL material then I'm going to suggest you find a different SW messageboard with less strict rules.

malkieD2, I watched a few episodes of Clone Wars on that link Gunray posted (first time i've seen any of it) and they persuaded me to buy the DVDs, so, ironically Lucasfilm are making money out of that rule-breaking link Not saying he was right to post it though.
