"I just thrilled to recording my role in the new 3D animated series of Clone Wars. Security is so tight that I will probably be melted down for even mentioning it. You'll have to wait and see."

Apparently, security is tighter for this show than when the movies came out. 
Now, does this mean that they've started recording voices already? In that case, we're going to see an onslaught of actors cast for the new show pretty soon, I'd imagine.

Nice!3D clone wars...WITH THE REAL 3PO! I just wish they would get Hayden's voice or Ewan's, I find the voice actors try to hard and don't sound good enough. They don't have enough of the characteristics to work with like the real actors. But Psch, like thats gonna happen.
So does anyone know if this is going to be clone wars as in pre-ROTS, or late clone wars right after ROTS? Meh, who cares, I'm still excited!

Well Anthony Daniels also recorded the voice of Treepio for the other clone war cartoon series. Still, I am also skeptical. I see the clone war era already too filled up. We have two hours of over the top animation already. The combat was in several systems, we have almost 58 clone wars comic books, not counting Episode 2 and 3 movie adaptions, a bunch of novels, with two more RC novels coming out, numerous short stories on the star wars insider and lets see Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2, Star Wars Lego 1, Republic Commado, Jedi Starfighter, A New Droid Army, Clone War, and the Episode 3 video game. All of them had clone war content. I'm a little clone wared out if you ask me. ohhhhhhhhh I almost forgot, and Dark Horse is commissioning 2 more clone war advenutre digest books. Those are about 80 to 90 pages, 4 stories each of clone war action. Even if it is over the top.

it's a galactic war. Possibilities are limitless if they don't chain themselves to just using mains.

Sublime Skywalker - there can be no Clone Wars set after Episode 3 as the Clone Wars officially end during Episode 3 (with the death of Nute Gunray and his merry men on Mustafar).
I agree that Clone Wars has been done to death now, and although I reserve the right to be shocked, amazed and blown away be this new series, I would much rather see a more interesting period covered eg between eqpisodes 1 & 2...

I'd rather see more Clone Wars comics, and not the kids stuff based on the first show. Hopefully the 3D show will tie-in with the prexisting Clone Wars comics/books.

R2 and C3PO are in ALL parts of the story, so this isn't really surprising to me. I'm sure at some point he'll have a cameo in the Live Action series as well.

Good news to hear. It's hard to find a decent repalcement for Threepio's vocie (whereas the actors standing in for, say, Hayden or Ewan or Samuel were pretty effective).
