Themes of the New Series
|
-The last of the Jedi obviously. Obi Wan and Yoda conversing thru the force with some Qui Gon and ObiWan dialogue...
-The bounty hunters tracking them down, Boba Fett as a main character
-The Lars homestead with Luke growing up on Tatooine. SHow ObiWan in the distance watching him...
-Some scenes with Vader and Palptine...at least holograms of them from time to time...directing the Empire and the Jedi Purge.
-Tarkin in a major role, as he climbs the military ladder, leading his army to worlds to destroy any uprising
-Mon Mothma in a larger role with Bail Organa, organizing the rebellion.

Basically these are all your theories. You should STATE this in the Title. And it's a crap theory. That's not exciting. Besides the show will not involve Obi-Wan, Luke, or even Leia. It will be starring new characters. i wouldn't be surprised to see Vader or Palpatine, but not Obi-an and Qui-Gon. They wouldn't even voice the cartoon, they won't be on TV.

Wouldnt get any complaints from e if these were the themes of the show. Dont know about Obi Wan and Qui Gon. I am not for other actors playing them!

Liam could provide voiceovers since we would not see his image. He didn't cross over fully. He was the first. Yoda, ObiWan and Anakin are the first to really crossover fully. So we could just hear his voice and someone else could voice close to Liam's voice. AS for Obiwan, he could be a little older and wiser since it would take place 3-5 years later I would think..an older actor could potray him at this point. Someone closer to Alec Guinness.

Nah. I dont think so. I think it would infuriate alot of fans using other actors...
Anyway you realise that the official word so far is that none of the main characters from the movies are involved, right? I guess we can hope for some good cameos.

Ewan, Ian, and Hayden have all said they'd be interested in appearing. Although I suppose Hayden would basically be limited to wearing the suit around.

Anyone can play Vader and an older actor can play ObiWan, no problem...yes, they would be cameos but you need them to make an appearance here or there, I think....Yoda is digital...Palpatine has makeup on and Iam McDiarmid does TV in britian. no problem

When did Ewan say he would be interested?
I can't say when, but I do definitely remember it being reported here. Can't remember the source either unfortunately.

I think the only thing I'd really, really be excited for would be Vader - helmet, crimson sabre in hand slicing up all those robe-wearing weenies!

That's what Anthony Daniels did in Clone Wars, and you can tell. His voice does sound a bit "off" in the cartoons. If James Earl Jones were to do the voice, I'd want it done in a studio.
A cartoon is one thing, but for live-action I want it done right.

Indeed  In this day and age, you'd think they'd do the lines over the phone for reference, but record it digitally at the same time where Anthony is, then send the nice crisp digital file over to the animators.
But that'd be the sensible option

Not overly keen on having Obi-Wan, Yoda and Qui-Gon. Although admittedly, a Yoda/Quigon scene would be easy enough to do. Also not keen on having the Lars Homestead featuring. A couple of quick cameo shots maybe, but I don't think I'd want any stories based there.
Other than that, I'd be glad to see the other options appearing. I'd have liked to have seen more Tarkin in RotS, and I was disappointed that Mon Mothma was cut; so more of them would be a nice addition.
I'm really not fussed about Boba Fett either way, but I think it's inevitable he'll end up featuring in one way or another. As long as they get Daniel Logan to play him, I'll be happy. 
I think the encompassing theme of the series will be the demise of the Jedi. There's no point setting it in that timeframe if you're not going to use that, IMHO

Well that would depend on the director/sound editor. Georgey and Benny would do it right. They've got experience, I think.

Here's what I would like to see in the live tv series:
-Bounty hunters and the Empire chasing down the remainder of the jedi.
-The beginnings of the rebellion.
What else is there? Yoda, Obi-wan, and Luke aren't doing much during this time period. A story with the Organas would be more interesting. Han Solo's back story has already been done. Maybe have a similar smuggler type character. There could also be a story about an Imperial soldier. I wouldn't mind seeing the Empire terrorize the galaxy. Cause a bunch of havoc on some peaceful worlds. The show could also include stories involving Black Sun or the Hutt gangsters. Just some thoughts.

Ewan Mcgregor stated that he wouldn't mind having a small cameo in the new tv series.
And as far for Liam, I think, I hope he would like to make an appearance. And hey, Actors never say no to a lot of money.
